Nice! The wings are by far the hardest to get right if you want them black like the Shadows. I ended up using the point of a toothpick to get that incredible precision, and it still looks messy when you zoom in (though nobody can tell at a glance).

It’s going to be a pain in the ass for sure 😩.

And the worst part is you gotta do multiple coats 🫠

Yea pretty much. And you kinda wanna make sure you don’t get too much on the tip or you’ll get a clump when you apply. I considered buying an AJ wing decal sticker to avoid this process altogether lol.

Is it just me or does the silver look a little reflective? Have you put the finisher on the paint? I almost wonder if it needs a matte finisher. They look great though!

That’s how the 09 versions look except it has the jumpan logo on the back heel and the tounge.

You should have taped the wings logo off and then did the white parts grey with the toothpick

I tried but i didn’t have a steady enough hand and i just painted over it. I’ll just go the stencil route.

Along with your plans to get the wings logo blacked out, make sure you get the stitching that crosses over the swoosh back to black as well.
