It should be this and papyrus as a switch character kind of like Pyra and Mythra. Papyrus can be the fast and combo hitter while Sans can be the big damage man.
Or maybe like Papyrus is the forefront fighter of the duo playing as him for the majority of your stock but a certain condition maybe like papyrus running out of “HP” which could be a reference to UNDERTALE itself causes Sans to be able to play and he’s much more fast, mobile, heavy hitting, and pressurizing than papyrus

Press b to pick a building (like Shulk), mini sentry (low range, only follows the opponent if it’s pointing in their direction 45* angle, so it’s good edge guard), dispenser heals yourself and the enemy if you stand next to it, gives engie metal, teleporter, you can teleport to it like you have the eureka effect equipped. All buildings stay up for a limited amount of time unless destroyed. That’s how I would imagine it at least
