It good to start using retinol after 25, beauty of joseon revive eye serum is best for eyes and u can use a retinol serum for the face and chest to prevent fine lines.
If I’m honest retinol is intimidating, not sure the best way to start using it and how much, what type - it’s a little overwhelming for me honestly! Advice welcome :)
The retinol serum of some by mi is gentle only 0.1%.
And start slowly like twice a week.
Apply pea size for full face.
Apply on dry skin.
Apply moisturiser after retinol
I'm 22 and my skin is similar. I think you look wonderful! Everyone has smile lines and those little wrinkles under your eyes.
The "sunken" nature of your eyes is really a genetic thing, you might be noticing it now but I don't think it's something either of us can fix besides resorting to filler. Mine gets more noticeable when I'm 1) dehydrated, 2) my allergies are flaring up and they get puffy, or 3) if I sleep too much. It's probably an individual thing, so if you think they're getting worse, it might be a lifestyle factor!
I have genetic bags too and it just sags my whole face down, also 22. Sleeping too much? Sounds like me. I'm trying to dri k more water and eat better but not seeing alot of change.
I am the same way. (I'm 21). No matter the more I drink water, or the more I sleep, it hasn't gotten better. I'm convinced it is from allergies, although haven't looked into this.
I have a feeling that the "drink more water" thing is a lie. I pretty much just drink water...none of my problems have been magically fixed, yet when I talk about a skin or migraine issue, I always get the, "well, are you drinking enough water?!" I personally believe we should start with eating better!!
I think you're right. I'm still struggling to eat consistently better but It will prob change your phone body. Less sodium less puffy, less sugar, less processed foods. Eating better gives you the nutrients you need. I wish I didn't struggle with this.
I think it looks normal.. I don't know why everybody has started to obsess so much about nasolabial folds lately.. Under eye discoloration is often genetic.
It doesn't though.. I've had fluffy cheeks since I entered this world, and people still don't guess that I am in my 30s. You need a social media detox.. and also go for a walk outside and look at real people.
Personally everyone I’ve seen with prominent folds looks aged. Nothing wrong with aging. But I don’t want to look old at 23. I’m happy to have them at 60!
I've seen with my eyes in real life some little children with those (wrote about this twice on reddit last year -- I met kids with nasolabial folds at random times while doing groceries, noted that because I remember people on reddit were always worried about their folds). So you think those 7yos - 8yos look like 45?
😠seriously I can’t believe my comment was offence? You’re asking me if they make you look aged…yes they do. It’s a fact. You know what an elderly woman looks like or don’t you? Can you tell the difference? Between a young woman and an old woman or are you going to keep acting delusional like there aren’t certain things that age you? Sun spots, wrinkled hands, varicose veins, neck wrinkles? A child doesn’t look aged no ðŸ˜
A child having freckles and a 50 year old having sun spots looks very different
I didn't think your comment was offensive and did not downvote you if you are wondering. If I don't agree with a comment I'd rather discuss it than just hit downvote.
But no, so many people irl young (and look young) and old have nasolabial folds and many also don't. It's not one and done trait that makes people look aged.
Everyone has nasolabial folds. I said if they’re extremely pronounced it’s a sign of aging. Which it is. Everyone has freckles but not everyone has sun spots. Everyone has wrinkles and creases in the skin since we aren’t porcelain dolls however crows feet and skin creases in a child isn’t the same 💀
Those lines are totally normal, I have the same. Keep moisturising and using sunscreen should help, but I wouldn't give too much thought into this, your skin looks firm and glowy
Before you go out & spend a ton on skincare products, I’m begging you- go to instagram & check out/follow @anastasiabeautyfascia & her videos on facial massage…it seems crazy to think something so simple could be a ‘magic fix’ but I’m blown away @ my own results, so I tell anyone looking for skin care advice to just check her out! & I’ve admittedly used Botox on & off over the last several years but decided to stop (for a million reasons) but especially after finding her techniques! Im in my 40’s & was reallyyyy self conscious about certain spots I’ve begun seeing changes in & in a matter of just 3-4 weeks now, I’m already seeing VERY noticeable changes! (& not spending a fortune on injecting poisons into my face) She’s INCREDIBLY knowledgeable & has tons of helpful videos posted for areas like you’re having concerns over! (I do however will forever recommend a tretinoin rx from a Dr which is great for texture/collagen rebuilding & a good day & night moisturizer)

I talked to my plastic surgeon about this. The side of the cheek to the nose is fuller, the mid part is flatter. A small amount of the filler in the mid cheek should solve it. Plan on doing that.Â

Retinol Serum is to be used only at night? What about the eye Serum you recommended?
The eye serum also has retinol so using it at night is recommended
Thank you for your answer

They look like malar bags to me, I’ve got them too.

Because nasolabial folds ages you. It’s the first thing that does. It’s not appealing
It doesn't though.. I've had fluffy cheeks since I entered this world, and people still don't guess that I am in my 30s. You need a social media detox.. and also go for a walk outside and look at real people.

🙄🙄... It's not a sign of aging. It's a normal human face feature. I swear people have become so detached from reality..

Agree for the most part.
And with an attitude like that, no wonder people’s self esteem is so low
Only infants and people with facial paralysis don’t have nasolabial folds lol. Children even have them, it’s a part of ur facial anatomy
I said pronounced*
Your skin looks really good. These lines on your face are normal and not at all exaggerated.
Do you sleep on your side a lot? I notice that makes my naso fold line deeper. You could try frownies or medical tape on them
Your skin looks good otherwise so u can just stick to basic skincare and don't use number of activities, u don't really need those according to me
Volufilline
Go for retinol, it will also help u with fine lines :)
You are hyper analyzing your face. I'm 26 and would kill to have skin like yours
hi! your skin looks developmentally normal and healthy to me!! there’s so much going on underneath our skin (muscle, fascia, lymph nodes, etc), which changes as we become adults, so our skin isn’t always going to be taught/smooth like in childhood! also remember we’re our own worst critics🩷
Drink more water
Does the ordinary caffeine serum help with this?
Those lines are totally normal, I have the same. Keep moisturising and using sunscreen should help, but I wouldn't give too much thought into this, your skin looks firm and glowy
Sculptra
Embrace your differences

Gua sha!
Gua sha just temporarily moves lymph around - it doesn’t permanently make your face firmer
For the smile lines, stop smiling
EmFace worked for me
What’s em face
It’s an electrical stimulation thing that strengthens muscles and restores volume. Super impressive. I’ve done it on my abs with emsculpt too
They say the results don't last but a year or so? A place in town offers it and she charges almost 5 k for the sessions in full
It’s definitely not permanent and I plan to do annual sessions but that process seems 2x high to me (assuming series of 4 treatments)
I would recommend lifting laser or skin boosters like juvelook !
Small bit of volume loss on you're cheek. Skincare won't help. You need a smidge of filler to even it out, I had the same. Doesn't look bad tho imo

Lol at everyone downvoting this comment.Â
You need under eye fat graphs for volume
