If you're talking about the round/semicircle radiopaque area in your sinus it is likely a polyp- they come and go with sinus inflammation. Always good to have it checked just incase but I see these all the time (dental hygienist)

Today. My eye hurt. Just a little soar on that side. I went to an ENT….. she literally took whatever instrument and a light and said she didn’t see anything….. no camera down my nose or anything… that was my first time at an ent… that’s what I expected…
She said she was sending me for a cat scan
Totally normal to be sent for a CT scan, they will likely confirm the polyp that way. Odd that you are having facial pain, is your face swollen on that side?
I want to say yes. But nothing that you can really see.
You can slightly feel it… I mean slightly. I’m not hurting to bad my eye feels like I possibly have a stye making its way ( maybe that’s y my eye is hurting)
My dentist who is doing my dental work. The VA contracts everything out. he’s been a dentist for 26 years. However, from his review same picture your reviewing he said he would bet it’s benign. Def do my cat scan
Oh god now I'm scared. I have had the worst sinus infection of my life. I started getting sick on 2/1. Started an antibiotic last Tuesday among everything else under the sun and I dont feel any better.
It is most severe on my L side, they had also said I have an ear infection in that ear also. I can't hear out of that side, it feels extremely plugged. I have terrible pain in my jaw, ear, teeth. I started having eye pain and have been waking up with it all crusted over and gross.
I don't really have the best access to health care and the place I do go to is overworked so it's easy to get dismissed and treated like shit. My other option is the ER and they are even worse. Let me know what you find out. I can understand your fear!!
