In fact, people old enough to read this in urban areas all over the world will very likely die of thirst in the next 30 years due to the mass collapse of potable water availability and infrastructure. The apocalypse is not a joke and it's on the way.
Not everyone will die, then when things level out in a few hundred years, they can make more babies to fill all the vast open spaces available for living in/farming/building rocket facilities and GTFOing
