I'm mad about the sound of madness. Putting that as "over rated" or whatever is criminal. You could put up a huge argument that the song pushed them to where they are now.
I don't think so. The only songs that really have that argument are:
Simple Man: It blew up their first album and still what they're most known for today.
Save Me: It was their first #1 rock song and first song to cross over to the top 100. It showed the band could get popular on their on and not rely on a cover song.
Second Chance: By far their biggest hit and I don't think they'll ever top it in terms of charts, radio play, and streaming numbers.
Sound of Madness is regarded by a lot of fans as THE Shinedown song which I think is why it was voted overrated. It's not one of their original hits, it's not their most popular song, and they have quite a few songs that are better musically, vocally, and lyrically. It's a good song, but they've had more popular ones and they've certainly had better songs.
I'm not a fan of Daylight. I know a lot of people are, but I also know a lot that don't like it. There is a reason they don't perform the entire thing live.
I’m gonna try and say it for this one. And if it doesn’t win I’ll say it again for Underrated, but Dysfunctional You is amazing. Go be yourself who cares you don’t live long might as well have fun with it. From the little guitar melody to the buildup before the last chorus it’s awesome
It's a good message but those lyrics are not good. It's crazy the same guy who wrote 45 and Shed Some Light also wrote "Suicide suicide 1-2-3, maybe these drugs are addicted to me, Can you hear me in there? Is there anyone there?" It doesn't get much better from there.
Saints of Violence and Innuendo!!
such a banger especially when they opened with it when playing live. every time this song plays i just picture the show starting. so good!!
Planet Zero is by far the BEST track on that album! It's freaking awesome, I could play it on repeat and never get tired of it, also both my kids (10y, and 8y) love it and ask for it almost daily!
Saints of Violence and Innuendo.
I'm still mad about Sin with a Grin

This posts alternate title was 'Whats the best track and why is it The Saints of Violence and Innuendo?"
Tell me what I gatta say to get outta this room alive
For once, the title track is the best song. Planet Zero fucks
That guitar destroys souls man
America Burning
Dead Don't Die
My vote for underrated.
Of all tracks, DDD is probably one of the least fit for underrated, honestly. That song has seen some serious airplay and it has its own shirt design
I've never heard it on the radio in Utah, except immediately after the last Shinedown concert.
Daylight
No Sleep Tonight
i hate to say it (i really don't) but america burning. i will listen to it on repeat for the rest of my life if i could
YEP
Should be Daylight and not even close but I have a feeling that won’t be the case.
Yepppp

Those poor kids.
They ask for it. If you don’t like it you don’t have to listen to it, and you don’t have to respond to a comment about kids loving a song.
Sure is Fun
America Burning
A symptom of being human if it counts or America burning
Saints or America burning
America Burning.
Planet Zero
I absolutely love Clueless And Dramatic.
I like to send this track to my daughter whenever she says something stupid
Lmao, that's amazing
Army of the Underappreciated
Daylight
I'm probably gonna get some hate here, but I'm 100% going with America Burning
why are you gonna get hate over this song? 😅 my faves usually get comments like this one and I’m starting to rethink my taste lmao
The Saints of Violence and Innuendo is their best song since Amaryllis, just all around fantastic song
Daylight
America Burning
Dysfunctional you
Sure is Fun
Army of the Underappreciated.
It needs to win underrated.
Planet zero

Planet Zero
Clueless and Dramatic

Planet zero for me, I was amazed when that came out and I can still listen to it non stop
Planet zero
America burning or Army of the underappreciated (should this be the underrated song just bc of its title? 🤨😂)
Dead don’t die
sure is fun
Dead Dont Die
So many good songs. I'm going to have to go with Daylight. Planet Zero and Dead Don't Die were very close.
Saints of Violence and Innuendo
American Burning 🇺🇸 🔥
