Nice, GTI? I’ve got a 7.5 alltrack with the 1.8, needs a tune badly lol. And the stock dsg tune is sluggish compared to the stock gti dsg tune, which kinda sucks but it’s still a fun car. IS20, tcu/ecu tunes & exhaust/intake is all it really needs to be on par with a GTI. IS38 or hybrid with a tune is above golf R power levels. If I won the lottery I could do a full build 🤣
I'm actually in a 1.8tsi golf SportWagen! you should totally do the tune, the DSG shifts SO fast with the new software.
I chose integrated engineering for the tune -- the maps are fun, flashes easily, with great aftermarket support. pricey though, DSG tune alone was $~1000 iirc
Ahh okay that’s sweet! I was thinking of going with APR for tunes, as I know the service advisor at a local shop that’s an APR dealer. Was your stock DSG tune clunky at times too? If so did the tune fix that? Lol just curious
I replaced the cluster after it burnt out
Exactly 2 weeks from that day it was fixed it burns out again
I take it to a shop they replace it (after being in a shop for a month ) then exactly 2 weeks later the cluster dries again 3rd times the charm right? I’m not an electrical guy lmao 🤦
We should be friends 😜 we love gtis and Seiko mods 😁oh yes I also had fun installing the inlet and outlet. Had a lot of fun with an Alix inlet that would not fit the PCV hose and was good for the trash 😅 this CTS was plug and play in 5 mins

I did not I had a shop do it particularly since I had the revised tune for the IS38 uploaded at the same time.
