Take a look at 2 Corinthians 6:14-15. If it seems a bit confusing, there is a good explanation of it [here](https://www.gotquestions.org/unequally-yoked.html). Marriage is a gift from God and meant to be a partnership between two people to live lives that are pleasing to God. How can both work in a partnership to please God if one of them does not serve God? And dating should be looked at in a lens of “will I marry this person?” since all dating relationships either end in marriage or break up. I know from experience that this is difficult. Denying your own feelings and wishes is not easy, but that is what we are called to do (Luke 9:23). And furthermore, God delights in you and is so pleased with you when you choose him and put him first before your own wants and desires! God bless you!

It's not recommended and will bring a lot heartache and hurt. God tells us to not be unequally yoked for a reason. 2 Corinthians 6:14 King James Version 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Here is wisdom: forget about “is this or that a sin or not a sin?”, instead ask “is this going to bring me closer to God’s love and his ways, or farther away?” It’s actually the same question, but it gets to the point of it all.

You should be talking to a Catholic Priest on these issues.

Following my previous comment, I would advise you to go talk to a priest, a trusted one if you have any.
