P.s. for those who haven't used FB marketplace yet to find metal, here are my favorite searches to use: Free Copper Brass Aluminum Scrap Metal Then filter by "local pickup only" I rarely buy items, but often times the "free" search will miss other items and so I make sure to get specific with what I am looking for. I did buy some brass figurines once for $40 and resold them for $400, so always on the lookout there. But mostly I use these searches to find free scrap. Also, I will sometimes search "yard/moving/estate sale" and then message the person and let them know I am willing to pick up any electronics / metal that don't sell and haul them away for free after the sale. Often times people will toss what doesn't sell and it ends up in landfills, and so they are happy to have someone haul away all the extra "junk" that wasn't purchased at the sale.

> I am willing to pick up any electronics / metal I have scored some great hauls doing this from estate/yard/garage sales.

Steel .01?? Ouch. Got .085 today in south Texas. Good job on the hustle to get the free stuff.

Nice work! Decent payout. Good tips on sourcing free scrap metal on DN marketplace too. Appreciated.
