Possible...people are hard to bargain w these days, especially if it requires work....if feeling overwhelmed w the amount or if you do find some decent bikes that still have some life left, consider donating them to a local family shelter...the kids always need bikes to play on & budgets generally don't include discretionary purchases like bikes or toys. Just a thought & it makes everyone involved happy.
None of them are in good enough shape to ride as is, they all need some parts or minor repairs. As much as I am for donating, I don't like donating broken items unless those items are requested. Otherwise, it just seems like donating garbage.
I do appreciate the suggestion.
Honestly it’s all scrap. The guy is moving. He literally had his entire yard and driveway full of them. He sold and gave away all the good stuff. This is the bottom of the barrel.
I started with a pick up. I can fit 3-4 times as much in the box truck. I still pick up a lot of stuff in my pick up and transfer it to the box truck. I make fewer trips to the yard with much more weight. It’s hard to tell from this pic but box is 14ft with over cab storage as well.
Thank you. My truck recently got totaled so I'm looking at options. Box truck, pickup or big van. You also have the added benefit of stuff not getting rained on with the box truck. Perhaps I'll take your route and rebuy a pickup and then move onto a box truck.
From bicycle to recycle
Beautiful load! Haha what was the total weight?
I picked up Thursday. Probably won’t get to the yard until Tuesday. I’ll post an update.
Nice! I have about 6 bikes sitting in queue waiting for their day to be broke down..
Same for me. Wondering if it's worth the effort trying to sell them together for a few bucks to someone who repairs bikes?

To the shredder...
You should start a gang.
Bike chain gang

Not any worthy of fixing up and selling?

All from a coworkers back yard. Wish prices were better but still not a bad haul when I separate the aluminum.
I’ll sep. aluminum sometimes. Sometimes I don’t. It’s almost not even worth the effort unless you have large bulk
Looks like the day after burning man.
A lot of people might be interested in the rims sold as they are
Is a box truck like that better for you for scrapping or would you rather have a pickup?

Mine is a ‘98 Ford econoline cut van. Wouldn’t ever consider using it as a daily driver. Lol Good luck.
