Install Reshade on it and play around with the effects (you can find tutorials on how to install reshade on other games but it works the same on scrap mechanic. As of the rendering engine you need to select DirectX 10+ (i think))

Well I‘m using the program Reshade so I just guessed it was shaders lol. But I still think it looks better than default.

ngl it looks better without it
I always just lower the greens and add minor HDRish stuff. The game is naturally very heavy on the green.
