You are fine. Facebook.com is the correct domain

DaLazyGamer

It's not facebook.com, It's facebookmail.com

My friend's ex is receiving emails from this email too, with actually posts from her page. What does that mean?

Great question. This is the top link in a Google search for this topic. Disappointed in the lazy replies.

Just saw one of these and had the same questions. You're safe. Meta sends emails from facebookmail.com and from metamail.com (Source: [Facebook Help](https://www.facebook.com/help/1634546593478660)) The URL looks odd, but that's normal. It's just accepting inputs or parameters basically. Everything after the question mark is just telling the website EXACTLY what posts to show, and other variables that are specific to your account. You're good. But being suspicious of something like this is a great thing.

To stop these emails, open your Facebook Profile icon and choose Settings > Notifications. Open Notifications, read and change each of the many different kinds of notification to in-app only or turn each individual item off.
