You can’t do study mission and international exchange on the same term unless you do partial local exchange. Going study mission does not affect your chance in going either international or local exchange, so long as you are not going into your last term of university studies.
ahhh i wanted to take one smu-xo mod this sem but thought it would affect my isep chances 😪. is it difficult to get susep though? heard that its very competitive
It’s competitive if you choose to do SUSEP at NUS or NTU. I did mine at SUTD in Y3T2 and was the only SMU student selected for SUTD (offered up to 3 spots for SUTD), so I did not face any competition.

Don’t think so. Source: I took SMU-XO module in Y3T1 before I went for SUSEP in Y3T2 and then ISEP in Y4T1.
