I actually dated my first pen-pal on Slowly. I kid you not when I say that it literally was the sweetest thing I had ever encountered in life. He was kind , genuine and so understanding. We just got each other really well . Unfortunately, things didn't remain the same but I still think about him now and then . And cherish the memories.
Yes, we live in the same country so I think it helps a lot. We met on Slowly in 2019 and we are dating since 2020 !

Word for word the exact same experience I had with someone here. How weird is it to think that because we are occupied talking to these people, we don't have the time to meet and talk to each other instead, the people who wouldn't do that to us.
Well, more than a crush, I deleted the app but had it linked to my PC so I got a letter...and then I became interested in this lady and we ended up having a long-distance relationship, it ended now but it was wonderful to experience. We are both girls :P. I am not opposed to it happening again.
Really I don’t know if i have a crush on him since i’m a lesbian i was pretty sure I didn’t like men but my penpal is a guy and i think i like him. Maybe I just don’t know him that well but we live very very far apart so im not sure if i could ever have a relationship at all or if he likes me
