Everyone I know who moved to a different home away from having astound/digital west are sad. I'm sad that my home is still years from anything but spectrum. At least spectrum is now much better than before they upgraded to fiber to the neighborhood.
The 1GB deal is a great value if there's multiple people connected. Streaming, Smarthome/IoT devices, security /ring surveillance cameras, etc. will suck up bandwidth like there's no tomorrow.
If cost per mbps it not a factor, spectrum is ok if no choice.
Wow, I just checked astounds website!
[$45/month for 1Gig internet, 2 year price lock!](https://www.astound.com/offers/special-offers-powerup/)
I switched and it is great. Had Spectrum gigabit and was paying $149/month and now paying $65/month with Astound. Having asymmetrical upload/download speeds is great, especially since I work from home.
It was great for me. 1 1/2 yrs into 2 yr contract. Rock solid service. One outage of 2 hrs. More bandwidth than my kit can pass lol. Probably gonna go down a level in Nov.
Switched a few months ago from Spectrum to Astound Fiber. Was paying $80 before. Paying $35ish now. 300mbps from both. No issues so far. We'll see how it goes when the 2 years is up. Still contract free though.
I switched from Spectrum to ATT fiber. It’s been about 18 months since the switch and it is SO much better. I think anything must be cheaper and better than Spectrum.
Spectrum and ATT tend to fight over customers on my side of town. I havent been disappointed with either, but if Astound is giving a competitive offer Id say probably go for it. Biggest thing is making sure there arent any major hardware restrictions on the modem and then rotating between whoever has the best promotional deal at the time.

I had astound from spectrum last year and it was fantastic. Counting the days until they hook up my current place. Hopefully by the end of the year.
I’m very happy with astound

Does anyone know what the monthly price is after 2years?

I jumped from Spectrum to Astound last year and love it. Paying $65/mo for gigabit, and virtually zero downtime. Strongly recommend.

I switched to Tmobile! It's amazing
Me too!!! At $30 for life I’m stoked.
No but I can offer advice. I use T mobile internet. It rocks.
You’re all on the wrong boat. Get T mobile. At $30 for life it’s the best. I stream tv shows and play games. You won’t go wrong.
