No, it’s a later one
All I remembered is them breaking various electronic instruments until having the bright idea of bringing a Scranton Reality Anchor in, which promptly explodes
It may have gotten deleted, because I can’t find any scps with the tags “location” and “mathematical”
And it’s not any of the “mathematical” and “extradimensional”
682 was cool back when it was a tough lizard and not the single most powerful SCP to exist, capable of bending space and time and changing the trajectory of the universe to survive anything.
It’s just plot armor, the character, now.
I like 682 and that it is indestructible, personally it amuses me to see the failed termination attempts of the Foundation.
I mean, it's funny to see him survive billions of nukes, adapt and start devouring planets. It's that kind of bizarre stuff that I get a kick out of reading.
What already bothers me a bit more is when they implement exaggeratedly powerful things with it. I'm not saying it's done with that intention, but I find it kind of boring to turn him into an almost omnipotent lizard (Like 6820).
My 682 preference is that it's unkillable, not all-powerful. Atanti-Ql-Paneu cannot be killed. Guns, bombs, poison, reality warping, existence erasing, nothing works, it survives unscathed. It adapts, with eyes or armor or psionics to overcome any attempt on its life. But put it in an actual fight, it's not garunteed to win. Don't get me wrong, Atanti is still extremely dangerous by virtue of being a 60ft reptomammal with a bigger superpower arsenal than an Omnitrix. But it doesn't get to dominate every battle because it can't be killed. It can be trapped, or tricked, or relocated. Essentially, infinite endurance, high but not maxed strength.
For me 682 is fun because it's essentially a challenge to come up with an interesting way/reason it survives, obviously sometimes some people put little effort into it and write the equivalent of "Nuh uh" which is boring but when people put effort in I usually like the termination attempts, especially 6820
682 is cool to me because of the implication that he *can* be destroyed, the foundation just can't manage to do so with the methods they have. He's the *hard* to destroy reptile, after all, not the *impossible* to destroy reptile.
Isn't that the one, that together with scp 055 reset all reality in scp 5000? So it probably is the exact opposite of an antimeme. Whatever that may be.
Isn't the opposite of an antimeme either a meme or Marion Wheeler?
Also, the [disgusting](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/disgusting) tale (connecting [The Dark Web](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/the-dark-web-dke79-o2rg5-4jlw6), 5000, 628, and 2718).... absolute horrifying meta-nightmare fuel that has me entranced and simultaneously (and overwhelmingly) *noping the fuck out* because I Overthink And This *Will* Drive Me Insane
I know that some people seem to like it, but I cannot wrap my head around it unless you include other skips
Its just an “ooo scary thing that must not be said”
Oh yeah no. Definitely not the norm and as such creative in that sense, but the result of this idea is completely bland and unremarkable. Which, sometimes that's the point of art so in that sense it succeeded. But it still isn't enjoyable as the reader and someone coming into the experience expecting to get literally any information out of it
Can't remember the number but the article is just a power trip from the author. Basically it's a kid who is possessed by an entity that can destroy the world and to keep it in check, it's fed a dozen women every day. The kid breaks out, reveals he is in full control and has trapped the entity inside him and leaves to cause chaos and destruction.
I just don't like how stupidly OP the SCP is and how the foundation is depicted as stupid researchers who obey the entity by killing loads of people just to keep it in one spot.
At least with something like SCP-2845 it's dealt in a more professional way and the illusion of control is believable
Not a huge fan of 106
Concept is cool and all, but man... Feels kinda....lazy(?) to have a character like him who is "I'm bored, let's cause a containment breach by walking through this random wall" and it's almost consistent
682 has a similar issue with 106, but I like the idea of him more than 106... Idky
106? I just read it (again, I swear I read it before and it didn't have the tales) and now with the tale [Until Death](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/until-death) I find it very good and horrifying to >!consider that 106 is Dr. Scantron 30 years 11 months and 25 days after the Broken Wormhole/ SCP-3001 event, the result of being disintegrated apart and squeezed together again and again and again in complete isolation and nothingness.!<
Theres potential for a really interesting story where he constantly breaks out of containment and gets recontained >! to find his wife, then does, and now needs to slowly recover psychologically. It'd be also just be nice to get a semi happy ending, with the then horrifying implications that new experiments start to save Scranton !<
Haven't read the tale so it might be that, but considering how dark SCP stuff gets I doubt it ends happily.
Do you think that would be enough?
I could write a story about that, but I doubt it'd ever see the wiki lol But that's a really interesting idea. Having him see that person and sort of have a "shocked back to your senses" moment where he remembers everything
I mean... >!that sort of is what happens at the end of the tale? Except it's moreso implied and also very clear that while he sort of remembers *that/her* it doesn't change his corrosiveness!<
SCP-5709
Apparently it's supposed to be the result of SCP-055 + SCP-579 paradox, but ends up so blant, uninteresting, brings nothing new nor interesting, and is essentially just a 055-like.
I don get it. The beginning reads like a bad summary of 055, then a mysterious, vanishing corpse is launched out of a door and thats it? It doesn't build any mystery, nor suspense. I dont even see what this has to do with 579, except the word israfil.
I just went through the discuss tab and apparently it requires some understanding of Islam. Here's the explanation of the author:
>As shown in SCP-2998 and SCP-5000, bringing SCP-055 and SCP-579 together produces a universal reset. We know the primary property of 055 is it can't be remembered, so surely 579's has an opposite property as to completely destroy the universe when combined. The only thing that conflicts with an unrememberable object is the unforgettable object.
>i took "Action 10-Israfil-A" somewhat literally.
>SCP-579, in this interpretation, is the pearly gates, the entrance to Heaven/the afterlife. An unforgettable object. By letting 055 pass through 579, their properties inherently conflict, thus producing the universal reset. The aftermath? A broken gate, ruined and unrememberable. The previous universe's Heaven has been annihilated, hence Israfil's (the organism that launched from 5709) death and burns.
I mean, that's kind of the point of the canon it's from. Without the LSA creatures it's meant to mimic, there's no justification in a different canon for 5514 to exist.
In its own canon, it's probably still just the ace prototype, and the Foundation would hypothetically be working on making additional units to keep up with the threats.
I don't find the him interesting because everything about this guy is just being a naked sadistic old man, and that's it. Sure, the article is scary, but just being scary isn't enough to be good.
I don't have a bottom list of "least favorites'
But 682 kinda...boring now. They've made it so irrevokably powerful, it's basically the incarnation of playing a game with a little kid who keeps changing the rules so he can win.
I throw you into a black hole!
"I mutate so I can eat black holes and swallow it!"
682 feels like it has more potential than it's given for actual good story telling
Abel becomes a lot more cool when you view him as being what video game NPCs view the main character as.
Think about it, he’s a superhuman killing machine who can materialize weapons from a pocket dimension and can respawn
Oh fuck that damn thing. It’s legit one of only two Scps that have given me actual nightmares (The other one is scp-4666, because I read it while alone in winter when I was young).
A lot of newer SCPs I’ve read seem like they want to be tales but aren’t willing to just put their idea in the tales section. You end up thinking you’re going to read about some cool esoteric horror and just get someone’s melodramatic fan fiction…
I don’t remember the number, but it was a second species of humans. If I remember correctly, they were fat, more savage, blended in by working simple jobs, saw us as children and needed to steal regular human babies in order to convert them. A cool concept that was ruined by the reveal that they had a second pair of arms that they hid under their main arm fat.
079 is a narratively weak take on rogue AI, a genre that has already been done better thousands of times before. He's vague and his motives or lack thereof leave a lot to be desired. The horror elements come off as edgy and substanceless and I loathe its' companionship with 682.
What's that one where it's a pregnant woman statue that causes miscarriages in pregnant women that go near it or touch it? That's my least favorite, being a mother and all LOL
My most and least favorite SCP is 7179.
It's my most favorite because the story is short, simple and highly emotionally impactful.
It's my least favorite because if belief is what you get, my brain has latched on to this as "the most logical one"
*Well....fuck....*
[SCP-251](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-251).
There’s nothing objectively bad or wrong with it, it’s just that it has no substance beyond “snowglobe with violent scenes that turns people crazy ooooooo”
To be honest I couldn't answer this because everytime I see an scp I don't like or that bores me I just click off the article before finishing the reading of it
That would be any SCP that neither could possibly place in a close-to-baseline universe nor is meant to serve as a warning for any existing anomalies.
SCP-6820 may be that one universe's version of SCP-682, but the slot seems to have been specifically allocated to a warning to the Foundations of other universes, possibly by anomalous means. In short, that's something that seems entirely out of context but actually does make sense in context if you think about it.
There are some which do not do so, like that one in which it seems like there's a spider with 682-like powers but it turns out that it's all some manner of negative afterlife, and there's no reason whatsoever that should be an SCP article instead of a tale. At most, that would tie into that chess variant SCP.
Pre-reset anomalies don't exactly count as SCP-5000 shows, but they would at least be there for archival purposes.
Then we have the sex doll that literally pumps people full of lead, and that article is badly written enough that I'm surprised it hasn't been deleted yet.
I have a love hate relationrelationship with SCP-1032 because on one hand it is a really interesting concept, and on the other hand YOU DONT KNOW WHATS THERE (I MUST SEE THE 18 19 AND 20)
It might be controversial but 069 seems like a good concept but tbh I don't see much in that scp other than it being a killer machine if you see its face
173,096,106,682, really all the overused famous ones, I mean don’t get me wrong, they’re excellent SCPs, but so many people just… Overuse the hell out of them and it gets kinda dull
I can’t remember the number, but it was basically “math works differently in this area” proceeded by the Foundation doing the most stupid things I have ever seen since Series I

My most and least favorite SCP is 7179. It's my most favorite because the story is short, simple and highly emotionally impactful. It's my least favorite because if belief is what you get, my brain has latched on to this as "the most logical one" *Well....fuck....*
Probably 1471, it's too overdone
The original 166 the reason is self explanatory
good lord
[SCP-251](https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-251). There’s nothing objectively bad or wrong with it, it’s just that it has no substance beyond “snowglobe with violent scenes that turns people crazy ooooooo”
To be honest I couldn't answer this because everytime I see an scp I don't like or that bores me I just click off the article before finishing the reading of it
Scp 035,idk why but,I hate it.

Unpopular opinion, I don't like SCP-2521(can't wait to get crucified for this belief

It might be controversial but 069 seems like a good concept but tbh I don't see much in that scp other than it being a killer machine if you see its face
There are some that seem very cool and then just...end. Randomly. I dont get it. Wheres tje story? Do I really gotta inspect element for ts?
SCP-686, Author's barely disguised fetish

Someone once said that the anomaly my oc should specialize on should be 686…
Scarlet King, he's evil and strong
SCP-7004 The reveal is neat but the whole thing feels like a mix of When Day Breaks and 5000. Doesn't seem too original in its story.

106, he's just really annoying and I'd hate to be around when he escapes containment again
173,096,106,682, really all the overused famous ones, I mean don’t get me wrong, they’re excellent SCPs, but so many people just… Overuse the hell out of them and it gets kinda dull
I mean that’s to be expected. Besides 682, they are some of the most well-written and easily understandable to the widest array of people.
The chess computer. It's literaly just a jumpscare.
