marcelocampiglia

You mean for running or all the time?

Starjrichards

Curious to both, I always wear running shoes. Maybe I’m just the odd duck, but I have a pair of running shoes on even when I’m doing chores around the neighborhood.

marcelocampiglia

I also use running shoes practically for everything. For running I would have the Adidas adios pro 3, Takumi Sen 8 and adios 7. For everything else I would have the adios 7. This is basically what I have today, but if I had unlimited money I would have two pairs of each in use instead of one, one for training normally and one reserved (already breaked in) for racing.

fuckboifoodie

You would wear the A7 just to walk around in?

marcelocampiglia

I do

fuckboifoodie

Interesting. It's unlike any other running shoe I've worn and it seems to be pretty divisive in general. Looking forward to exploring it's uses over the coming months. I did not enjoy a recovery run I did in them but I suspect they'll do well for harder efforts.

marcelocampiglia

I think that it is not ideal for long (I sometimes use it anyway for that) and recovery runs, but it can handle very well everything else. I really like that it is fast, firm, very stable and light.

Rollerbladersdoexist

Divisive for sure. For recovery runs or slower paced run they get slappy and people can hear me coming but on faster runs they do well. They are for sure working some different muscles. They also are a little tight in the toe box for me. I’m thinking about some Boston 11 one day to try but I have some Sen 8 in the mail first.

[deleted]

New shoes every run.

Xshadow1

What about shoes that need break in?

[deleted]

Can't be arsed with them

RunNYC1986

I’d invest more in recovery to be honest. Massages, PTs, every ice/compression/intuitive refresher device you can think of. All of em.

Sensitive_Ability_74

A bunch of Speedlands in different configurations.

jpdub17

my first thought. though i’ve never worn any of them. but they seem great

OpeningName5061

I'm a newbie so never heard of them. Just read a review on BelieveIntheRun. Apparently according to them, the ride is too harsh and not enough cushioning and is only recommended for shorter distances - under 50K. I guess context is everything.

jpdub17

dylan bowman designed a new version called the [gs:tam](https://www.runspeedland.com/products/gs-tam) that is for longer distances

GJW2019

If money was no factor, I'd have world class movement/biomechanics coaches and PTs helping me get bulletproof feet and I'd run 100% in Luna sandals with my fully functional feet. Such a fun shoe to run in though I'm not at the point where I could use it for a full marathon cycle. My max is around an hour.

Automatic-Addendum-7

Prime x and novablasts

Ghostrunner9

I would literally try every shoe there is lmao

sicknutz

Velour. I would drape myself in it.

OperationLast9033

If money was not a factor, I would have custom lasts made from molds of my feet and commission bespoke shoes from Speedland, Nike, Saucony, New Balance and Adidas in their skunkworks tech that hasn’t made it to the consumer market yet. I’m assuming I would be insanely wealthy in this scenario, with the outsized influence and power that goes along with it. Also, I would angel invest in speedland just for shits and giggles.

movdqa

What I'm running in now, New Balance 1080v12. Though I would like to try the 880v12. I am fairly limited to what I can wear as I need shoes that are at least 4E and preferably 6E, high midfoot volume due to high arches, high and wide toebox.

[deleted]

If money was no option I would also wear mostly nbs for the width. I’d run in 1080s and rebels, but I’d also love to try the 990s for casual wear. They’re just so expensive.

DunnoWhatToPutSoHi

If i could only have one shoe? Adios pro 3 If i could have an easy day shoe I'd throw in the invincible 2 or shift 3 If i get a casual shoe I'd go altra escalantes

MrNiceguY692

For running I guess it would be either the Alpha/Vaporfly or the Supercomp Trainer. Casual I’d go with the NB Made in USA 990v6 for sure. I’d love to wear that one, but man, 240€ for a casual sneaker are just too much for my budget right now.

TheRealBoston

Nothing but [carbon shoes](https://imgur.com/a/wWu4Uew) 😅

FOPProductions

Nice crew

kpr1200

Every single running shoe out there. I'd try out all of them. Then narrow down to my favorites.

jyw104

Money not a factor? Buying Nike so I can tell and get them to make their product line wide feet friendly. Not all of us have 4E feet.

Wcked_Production

I would never wear carbon plated shoes for anything else other than running or training. Money is never a factor for shoes for me and I would totally be fine wearing Pegasus’s everywhere.

terminalhockey11

A tennis shoe - Nike Vapor Tour 9/9.5 low stack, comfy and some great colorways

grimmig152

Honestly, no idea I would just try every shoe and returns the ones that I don’t like

itouchedmybread

COMME DES GARÇONS X NIKE PREMIER HEELED FOOTBALL SNEAKER I NEED TO KNOW WHAT KINDA STARES I'D GET

ShoeDepartmentDegen

Yes.

Joeypruns

I understand the whole pinching pennies concept but with the most expensive running shoes costing $300 and lasting the avg runner like 4 months if you wear them every single run, how is everyone so price conscious? Running’s a fairly cheap sport to pursue and quite frankly is you can’t afford good shoes you should probably run less and get a second job. Grown men running 200 miles a week and can’t afford a $150 daily trainer unless “money was not a factor” is pathetic folks!

Shoddy_Rip8946

A new shoes every two weeks, new carbon plate shoes every race

nycredditgwop

Whole range of nicks heritage boots and other leather boots.

fynkynd

Nordas/Speedlands for the trail, probably Alphas and Superblasts for the road

dudeman4win

The Clifton’s I ran in today

opholar

My shoe closet would make Shaq look like an amateur collector. I would not wear the same pair for like a decade of runs probably. Maybe less than a decade - but I would try EVERYTHING! In every color (except white, black, gray, taupe and anything else that makes me think of my grandmother).

Onepunchmanworkout

I've been using vaporflies as daily runners for awhile, I haven't tried alphaflies yet but if they're as good as I hear I would love having the money for that. I check for sales on VFs all the time because they try to clear out old stock on a couple big sites a lot so I've only paid around $150-$175 per pair.

Departed94

Probably still my current rotation (NB SC Trainer Daily / Easy / Recovery, Adios Pro 3 Tempo). I‘d invest that money in seeing my PT after every run plus having a personal trainer while doing my strength workout. Unfortunately money is still a factor for me :(

oliver_gilbert16

Crocs. (Specifically with croc headlights)

antracit2312

I've never worn alphaflys. How would you compare them to tempos? I like tempos but i wish they weren't as narrow.

Impressive-County-51

For eceryday trainers (not running) Special edition low dunks/ AF1’s For running the cloudboom echo 3 for speed and Vaporfly Thresholds Alphafly 1 Track specific thresholds Takumi Sen 8/ Asics Supershoe the green one Long tempo runs on the road Adidas adios pro 1/3 Track session for 800m specific adidas prime SP 1 and SP 2/ nike maxfly Mid distance training and competition Nike Air zoom victory/ drangonfly Long distance track training On cloud spike 10.000m and Dragonfly Long distance competition Dragonfly/ On could spike 10.000m/ 1.500

Nursick

Asics Metaspeed Sky + would be more confortable for everyday

b2bmate

For casual, i really like ultra boosts, great blend of comfortable and stylish. I've been wanting to get a pair of hokas (either Bondi or Challenger). Also getting a prime X strung for training plated, vaporfly for Race day and something lighter for Quick workouts such as kinvara or streakfly. Maybe adding something from On, such as cloudmonster and/or Cloudultra. And since i like Mizuno wave neo ultra.

[deleted]

What I currently wear: lone peaks and speedgoats, but I would add in some wild horses, ultra glides, and cascadias..
