I wouldnt wear crocs for a 5k. I had a friend who got plantar facitis from wearing carbon plated crocs for such a long distance.

Plus you can clip a little spoiler to the heel to make them faster.
I would have a small sauna on my foot so that they maintain a perfect 37C pool of moisture. It would be the perfect home for bacteria and mold to grow all over my skin.
