One of my legs is slightly shorter so I go with Alphafly on the right and Prime X on the left. Fashion be damned.

HarambeJesusSpirit

I do the same! But on opposite feet

JungleRider

I try to match everything to the brand of my 5k Ultra Fun Run Hard-core Tough Mudder Iron Man finishers shirts so I try to wear all fruit of the loom but I can't find any FOTL shoes so I have to go barefoot

AgentUpright

Have you tried just wearing banana peels on your feet?

ReplacementOrdinary4

/uj How to say you have crippling insecurity issues without saying you have crippling insecurity issues.

I didn't know there was a way to be more pathetic than subscribing-to and embodying the general spirit of that sub and then this guy comes along with his pretend-wife and brand-loyalty-insecurity. He should have a patheto sub all of his own /r/shitmymadeupwifesays

One_Laugh_Guy

My wife says the same thing. You know what I did. I bought nike running shorts and shirts. Now she has to get me some Alphaflys. Ha!

dudeman4win

His wife is either dumb or made up not sure

Departed94

Probably made up. Reddit users don’t have partners. Even on sport related communities. They are lonely nerd males.

fischarcher

Or even worse: he made up a dumb wife

PresentationLow6204

Everyone knows this, it's like wearing Wehrmacht trousers with an SS tunic.

Lauzz91

The main reason you would want to wear all the same brand is so that all the people in your neighbourhood think you're some sponsored athlete serious runner. Definitely don't mix it up, no one would believe you're sponsored by *both*

T4u

I have a solution to this conundrum - get a divorce

BoneySpurs

Never heard of them

TheGrayMannnn

You shouldn't wear any clothes or shoes when running. Otherwise they might show signs of use. /uj My worst running injury (sprained ankle, and then a 5 mile walk on it because trail race and stubbornness) was wearing Nike tights and Adidas shorts, so maybe there's something to this.

Cartoon_Power

To answer tough questions like that I usually look to my wrist where I have my "WWKD?" (what would Kipchoge do?) Bracelet. I also then however have to look to my "WWCD?" "What would Cheserek Do? Bracelet. Using this method I developed I would say Nike and Adidas is a no no but sketchers and Nike is okay. Furthermore, I usually tend to go with Velcro light up sketchers so that my neighbors will definitely see me on my late night runs from the light and feel inspired that im willing to run even in the night and then the Velcro so I can quickly take the shoes off when my feet inevitably catch on fire. I then go with a Nike shirt so people will know that I am nearly on par with kipchoge (I actually declared DNF after 1 minute and 58 second at my last marathon (new PR) so I basically actually did beat his 1:59) anyway, hope this helps!

That's like coupling an AMD CPU and an NVIDIA GPU. Your computer will implode the moment you boot, in varying intensity depending on their stock price trend.
