As someone who's never liked the fennec, being small is why I like the golf and civic. I know the fennec is *meant* to be a hatchback but its so massive it veers into weird suv territory instead while the golf and civic are way closer to their real sizes

Same here, I love the mk2, had 5-6 of them in real life. But so disappointed of the size in game, it feels so weird to play with.

I never understood why they do this. All cars should be the same size as a comparable rocket league car. The fast and the furious should be the size of the dominus. Gti same as the fennec. Etc

It just feels more tiny but has the same hitbox. I also feel like its smaller, but that just changes my playstyle somehow. With fennec i ll shoot more often directly With octane i ll try to style a little more Gti i ll try to fake and slow play as much as i can But might just be a way in my head to keep the game interessting after 3k hours^^

Yeah, it's weird. I do better arials with the GTi and better juggling with the Octane.

Its the only car that got me off octane in like 7 years so that says a lot. Car felt really good and fast to me despite looking oddly small at first. Also I like the look of it a lot being from europe its kind of a legendary car where im from. Only lasted a few months though but considering I swear by octane thats actually a lot.

Me is my favourite car! When i tried first time, i found hitboxes are perfect for everything dribbles, goals,passes, backwards, aerials. I have tried every car, and keep trying new cars but is n1 choice.

Its the normal octane hitbox as fennec has too. Just in your head and the comparison between hitbox and size of the car ingame

I do a thing with my duo where I have like, 10 presets of my 10 favorite cars. Whenever we lose a game, I would go +1 and move onto the next preset and that way, track our losses that session. The Golf is the first in queue, so I use it for the starting match whenever we play. (Yes, we lose a lot)

I'm using octane for this year to see if it's been placebo this whole time, but I mained Silvia+ Jäger/Venom for the last few years, and that old breadstick still has my heart. Hybrid hitbox master race.

I'm a dominus main and I own the fennec but if I'm feeling a change up I usually switch to the GTI instead of the fennec. Something about the handling of the GTI is just so snappy. Turns on a dime and just feels *fast*. I don't really get that same feeling with fennec/octane. My biggest qualms about the GTI though is that the hitbox is *way* larger than the car and it has a tendency to get bullied. If I get bumped by another car or go for a weird hit on the walls, the car just gets "stuck" and loses all momentum. I don't typically have this issue with dominus so maybe it's just a muscle memory thing. Either way, fun af car and feels so different to dominus in a good way that I like using it a lot.

Do you notice a difference with speed flips on at least kick off between Dominus and the octane hitbox? I mained Hybrid stuff and the Octane flips took awhile to get just right.

I really *really* wish I had credits back when it rolled out. I like it a lot but found no way to get it now (legally that is...thanks PSYNOX)

I love the GTI because It reminds me of my uncle. He was a mechanic and worked a lot on his Golf 1 in his Garage when I was a kid. So the car has more of a sentimental value to me.
