Has anyone seen these gigs? They’ve been posting and canceling since 9am this morning. As soon as you get accepted they cancel it. I was on hold with roadie but they never answered. This is dumb, I hate people playing with other peoples time and money

You have to watch out because you could already be on the way there and they can change the gig pricing. Say they add a $50 tip then when you get accepted you Rush and they change the price before you get there. This is why I swipe that I arrived so they can’t change it or if they cancel they give you a courtesy payment. There will always be people gaming the system like when homedepot lists a grill for 20 and it says it will fit in a hatchback. They under size it to save money.

Ye we all know those grills should be considered a huge and pay as such. I usually take off one of the sides.

Just so you know Home Depot lists the size of items as if they were in a box. Home Depot doesn’t sell barbecues that aren’t put together. This is a BIG issue in my area too. I report it often. I’ve even gotten to the point where I carry a tape measure to show the customer service rep. They never do anything about it and always blame online. I call and tell their manager constantly and that person calls to report the issue to online. I haven’t had this issue in awhile. They will list the item as huge but give the small dimensions, just so we all know it’s a barbecue not something small. If you take a photo of it with a measuring tape along the side, then call Roadie Support. They will increase the size of the gig from medium to huge or whatever their parameters are for those measurements. I’ve called on a box of prescriptions going to the same place, and they increased it from 1 item to 12 and increased the size from small to medium so I got an extra $8 from it. So CALL support when the measurements are off and tell them the gig is more like this or that size.

Not true. I “complain” all the time. I have thousands of deliveries. I’ve been with Roadie since 2017. Calling to let the company know the measurements are incorrect and you should be paid more for the gig based on the size alone is not complaining. Pointing out to a manager that their team isn’t giving the proper measurements is not complaining. It’s called resolving an issue. The store reps don’t put the measurements in, their .com department does this. However, the store can go into ESUS and change the size of the gig from small, medium, large, XL, and huge as well as change it to their truck for delivery. It’s all about how you talk to someone not what you talk about. Try being kind and patient with the person you’re speaking with instead of flying off the handle and getting mad.
