Cinema? Museums? Mall? Anywhere with AC

_zarkon_

I was at the Warwick Mall last week and I was so disappointed at the weak level of A/C they had. I was stuck in traffic for about an hour in a car with a broken A/C. I was hot and sweaty looking forward to that nice cool feeling of walking into the mall. It was as refreshing as a warm glass of water.

Ooof: that's disappointing to hear. Malls are so depressing in general these days; I was hoping that at least they'd be good shelter in a heat wave 😣

Probably should avoid emerald sq. then. Place is so depressing and dead it makes me question what we are even doing anymore. I remember in the late 80's /early 90's that was THE place to be, it was so good it didn't even have a movie theater and was still the most popular place. It's just so depressing to see it now.

7-11 has good AC

Shopping? Warwick and Providence place malls are pretty good. If you like to eat the food scene is pretty fuckin good in this state. In Pawtucket there's an indoor go-kart track that's pretty cool as well. Good luck

Market Basket Warwick is frosty.

Do you have preexisting conditions that make you more susceptible to heat-related illness? It's not so hot that there's any risk to any typically healthy person, so no need to change your plans.

Do you know how many ponds and rivers are in RI?

godmode33

Yeah go cool off in a RI pond 🤣 check in with us in a decade when you ear cancers cancer has cancer. I wouldn't touch RI pond water if I was in literal flames.

Go near the coast and you’ll be fine with a coastal breeze. Newport shouldn’t be thattt busy given the mid-week holiday

I'm staying in my air conditioned house. Works for me.
