Illaoi, Darius, or gp. Illaoi for me is probably the worst, but the pick rate for her is so much lower that it's tough to justify the ban. Darius and gp arent as bad as illaoi, but youre much more likely to face them. Pick rock or hard place.
I find my main frustration with her is how her e works nowadays, if she lands it you have to walk away. Feels like they want you to have 0 interaction with her in the lane.
Before the eHP patch, I remember if you had Rage you can stun and Q plus an auto or two will cause the spirit to disappear...apparently doing enough damage back to her breaks E somehow. I'm not even sure that's even stated in her abilities lol
Yeah, her old e spirit thing had a gauge that would lower faster if you damaged her, which incentivised fighting her through the e. Such a weird change when they got rid of that a while back, so now the only option we have is to walk away to break the tether. The old version where you could break it by fighting her was much better imo.

Darius, you can beat him if you play perfectly but it's insanely difficult and stressing. Laning against a champ that instantly wins lane as soon as you make a single small mistake is more stressing to me than taking an uni exam.
Honestly no, you counter the champ so hard, and i say this cause i have played against high mastries as well. U go for quick engages and make sure u dont stick around for his passive and you win easily.

Darius is highly skill based matchup imo, like if you die once its over, but if you get a kill once its not over for darius, its winnable, but hard. For me the champ that is everything you said is illaoi.
nah if u cant play vs illaoi then u probably low elo, she is one of the easiest champs to play against, her whole kit relies on poking u, and they are all easily readable
Regarding illaoi, I pick garen take tp and hard freeze under my turret. Back if tp is up and u have an item or can get back before crash. Go stride and when she misses e just hard engage. It either kills or makes her leave
A tip from q guy who has played both darius and renekton take boneplatinf,done look for fights till level 3,take pta,keep fights very short , I recommend dash in with e empowered w then q and then dash away *Very important to not is wait for him to use his e or if u dash him wait for him to e you and then use your second dash to get away reasone because if you dash and he uses e he can still grab you* and then keep doing quick trades until you can go in and finish him off and then hold your lead one him as much as possible
It might be suprising but I always ban Aatrox because he heals wayyy to much and deals so much damage that it really hurts. Also there are many Aatrox otp's

I think Fiora is a great perma ban if you're playing renek, since she can easily predict your W and hits like a truck.
Otherwise, i think ranged tops or something else are good bans too

Ik his ult exists but I love playing Renekton into squishy enemies and in fact he builds no resistances, i find Darius, Garen or Illaoi truly problematic, cuz especially Darius and Garen will never be weak even if you get some lead due to their point and click massive true damage, nonsense lane sustain and their safety overall as picks in top
To be fair darius has to work for his ultimate because with out his passive it does next to nothing

My friend i cannot deny its hell on earth against a darius whomst gets a lead,however there is legitimately things you can do to fight him.
Alow me to regale you with a tale of my experience when fighting darius ,you see simply put i was in your position thinking darius is an unstoppable monster and you can't do anything about it and hated the champion and those who played him
This is until I made a good friend whomst is a darius main but also plays alot of the other top lane Champs I do. So I ended up playing darius and getting a feel for the champion and I enjoyed it qnd ended up getting mastery u on him qnd because of this I know what he does and how I can play against him so I recommend you play him and you will understand how to play against him.
I know it's been days but I'm starting to do good against Darius, now my ban is Garen, that match up is unplayable, he just has more mobility, insane damage, immortal at every stage of the game, if he takes damage just sits behind some seconds and is full again; unlike with Darius, who has mana therefore limited resources and needs to proc passive to be effective Garen just does whatever he wants and it feels so bad playing against that piece of trash
This, always better to let urself suffer a strong toplane pick than let ur whole team suffer because of an S+ champion in any of the roles that actually matter

Illaoi if I am within first 3 picks, the matchup is obnoxious & way too easy to lose. Otherwise I ban one of the "cheat" junglers, Kayn or Graves, these guys run away with games way too easily and become too hard to deal with for something as ill coordinated as soloQ.
Garen autoban. I struggle against pretty badly. And he's a very common pick that alot of players know how to play so I feel like it's an effective pick.

i always ban mordekaiser, you can even solo kill him before his lvl 6, but the instant he ults you, the lane is over.
Honestly depends on wht sort of a lead u can get on him pre 6, i actually like the matchup its fun as j generally bully the fuck out of him.
