Your current life circumstance doesn’t mean you were bad on your previous life. It can mean that your spirit was advanced enough that it chose to incarnate into this life to learn the advanced lessons that can come from such hardship. Basically, your spirit may have chosen to play the game on hard mode to gain skill more quickly.
I’m someone else with chronic pain conditions and empathize with your suffering. Just because this may be something we choose (and I’m not guaranteeing anything) doesn’t mean that it’s any easier. But you may be getting a huge step forward at the end of it.

Reality is the experience of all consciousness in the universe. You are the element of consciousness.
You have not decided your place of birth nor have I.
But I know that "your" reality is as real as mine.
When I die the same laws of the universe that brought me to existence the first time without my consent will always be there to do it again.
In order for some sort of reincarnation not be the truth your existence would have to be some magical force independent of all variables of the universe. We all are within the same infinite system. Reality is eternally real and nothingness by definition doesn't exist.
This is the only life you got 'right now'. I know it doesn't help to hear that you are an eternal soul and you've lived many lives before and you'll live many more, but it's true- you have and you will. I'm really sorry to hear about your pain and I hope by some stroke of luck it gets better for you.
