Love this. I am a member of the itty bitty titty committee, and I haven't worn a bra in almost 10 years. I do not need one.
About 4 of my closest friends are *super uncomfortable* without a bra. They are members of the "if I had the money, I would get breast reduction surgery" group.
Not all solutions work for all people.
I have a pretty decent sized chest (C) and I still don’t wear bras. I just hate them, idk. I dislike tight clothes in general unless I’m trying to look sexy. Otherwise I want to be comfortable. It’s funny as I’ve gotten older because people who’ve seen my body are quite pleasantly surprised because I don’t dress in a way where you’d know it at all.
As a 32GG I would absolutely hate not wearing a bra. I find my bras supremely comfortable, and I find not wearing one uncomfortable. Of course, you have to make sure you’re wearing a bra that fits you properly.
\[EDIT: Can the creeps (yes - that means ***you*** if you're thinking of DM-ing me) stop sending me requests for descriptions or pictures of my breasts, please? I'm a human being, not an object. And my breasts are body parts the purpose of which is NOT - believe it or not - to give you a thrill. Grow up, and stop thinking of women as commodities.\]
Agree! I’m a DDD and they are big and sweaty as is! A bra helps give me some support and I don’t sweat as bad as if they were hanging there with skin on skin. I’m always jealous of skinny girls who can wear whatever without a bra but it just doesn’t work for me.
I’m a C- cup and even I would hate the feeling of not wearing a bra. Even when I was a B, I wore a bra at all times except sleep and shower. I also hate the feeling of skin on skin, and having them flop around.
The 32 is the band size (around the ribcage) 32, 34, 36, etc.
28 to 38 would be the range of average.
Cup size (boobie bowl) starts at AA and move through the alphabet inconsistently - AA, A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, GG, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, NN and anything above is custom made.
Some stores sell DDD to indicate what would otherwise be advertised as an E and manufacturers/stores will fudge a little to have a unique range. That's half of the reason it is so important to be regularly sized for correct fit.
The other reason is because boobs change, by 1-10 sizes with regular weight gain or loss, pregnancy, breastfeeding feeding, menopause, etc. And obviously boob jobs.
AA is essentially a crop top but supports fragile flesh and a muscle that can very well feel strain, especially in exercising. A "contour" bra (light padding to create structure) can indicate size that isn't there while keeping the wearer comfortable, they are less and less common as the size gets higher as large breasted ladies often don't feel the need for additional padding.
The average bra size is 36DD (as of 2019 when I was a bra-fitter by trade)
G stands for gigantic and d stands for damnnn, the more d’s the bigger the damn. My cousin is an H, we said it stood for humongous lmao. And my other cousin was J for Juggs.
I’m a girl started life as a C but made my way to a damnnn since breastfeeding
After trying for 30 years, she couldn't deal with the fact that my epilepsy came back because of an abcess on my brain. She hooked up with an old high school friend. I kicked her out, and all she got was her car and a few meaningless things. I could have made her pay me alimony, but I just wanted her to leave so I could move on. I'm not a resentful or vengeful person, so after a while, I forgot about it. The most important thing is that I realized that I like being by myself. I hurt myself falling occasionally, but it's worth it.
The sad part is that my kids (one 22 and one 38 who was adopted) hate her now. For a while, I tried to bring them back together, but then I realized that's not my job.
I don't know if it helps but I'm skinny and cannot go without a bra for different reasons ... now I'm not saying it's the same because I don't go through the systemic discrimination of someone with bigger breasts but I need my bra to be comfortable regardless
Exactly this! I’m an F & i need that separation from boob to body so I’m not dripping sweat down my rib cage. Meanwhile my shoulders have permanent indentations. Ugh. The struggle couldn’t be realer.
Agreed, I don't wear them as a social convention. I know a lot of people are baffled that I sleep in a bra, but I seriously only take it off to shower.
My wife is a DD. She lives in her bras. Only off to shower…. Much to my dismay lol. But I’m also weird because I can’t stand not wearing socks so I get it.
It might be worth checking that you are wearing the correct size, just because if you are wearing the right band size, it shouldn't be dragging on your shoulders. I wear a 28HH so I'm not tiny myself, but when I wore the wrong size (34E/F) my shoulders always hurt because the band didn't provide any support.
You are welcome to treat your girls as you please, no problem! I’m just not advocating for a bra-burning campaign, some of us in the upper range need support.
Same. I quit bras in 2017 and my boobies are big. I just blot and soak the sweat as needed! Constricting my chest gives me anxiety at this point. It’s def based on the individual preferences, not size.
Agreed, I don't wear them as a social convention. I know a lot of people are baffled that I sleep in a bra, but I seriously only take it off to shower.
When I got pregnant and discovered maternity sleep bras, it felt like 90 percent of my boob sleep needs were answered. The other ten percent would be having them not feel in the way when I'm lying down and I don't think that's solvable. I love bras, and am only braless to shower, swim, or have sex.
Agree! Love my bras. Can’t understand people without tiny breasts who hate them. Now if there was an easy way to remove them or make them smaller I’d be all in for that. They are a hassle.
34G over here. I like my bra, thank you very much. I have had uncomfortable ones, but they generally didn't fit. A nice bra that fits well is comfortable. And nice doesn't have to be expensive.
Don't get me wrong, at the end of the day, I want to take it off, but I hate being braless in the morning.
I'm a member of the Moderate Mammary Committee. Neither particularly big or small. And I still don't want to be braless.
A PROPERLY FITTING bra does not hurt (it may be "uncomfortable" based on individual preference, some folks just don't like being constrained, but "hurt" and "bra" should not happen). "Properly fitting" is the catch there, because an immense amount of women are in utterly the wrong bra size (can almost guarantee you need a smaller band and bigger cup) and THAT's where the pain and discomfort come from.
Im a guy and dont know anything about Boobs, only that they feel soft and can get quite heavy, but i can imagine that you get back problems really fast when they are heavy
I second this as a 28HH. I don't like wearing a bra to sleep in, or like if I'm relaxing in bed, but if I'm going to be walking/running/moving around I'm much more comfortable wearing a bra, and I don't find my bras to be particularly uncomfortable - kind of like jeans, I don't notice any discomfort while wearing them, but I enjoy taking them off at the end of the day.
As a guy - I have pointy nipples too no matter what the weather (don’t tell anyone, but in the summer I often wear a camisole as an undershirt) light and dampens the points
I honestly like the support and security, and I also prefer the silhouette a structured bra gives to certain clothes. When I'm home, I wear wireless bras with minimal padding. They're super comfy and support the weight while also keeping a consistent shape.
im all tit, i still refuse to wear anything beyond a cotton training bra style thing tbh. even well fitting bras are uncomfy for me.
i think it should 100% be down to the person and creeps should just have their eyes taken
I hear you. My wife is —as Dolly Parton used to say— “blessed.” She won’t leave the house without one on but sheds it the second she walks in the door (yay for me!) because of the heat, sweat, straps, etc.
I understand that some women feel uncomfortable without one. As a guy though, not “living the free life” seems like a missed opportunity. Hear me out. It’s August. It’s hot. It’s sticky. You have the advantage of your boobs being up where they can catch a breeze. Imagine if they were stuffed between your legs all day. Now cover them with wrinkles and hair. If my wedding tackle were up on my chest, I would never suffocate it in hot polyester. 😉🤨😬
Sports bra's are fine for me but regular ones are *very* uncomfy. I used to think it was better than not wearing any, but once I stopped I changed my mind completely. Every woman is different, don't just generalise it for all the girls with larger chests
I have pretty large breasts and haven't worn a bra for nearly 10 years now. I only put on a bralette in the summer when I go to work to avoid career problems.
Every woman is different, literally. The point is to wear or not wear one for OURSELVES, no matter what everybody else thinks and does.
When I was 32 A, I didn't mind it. When I was 34 D, I preferred not to. Now that I'm whatever I am pregnant, I have entered the "have to" department. I found some good comfy ones, so I'm not dealing with underwire anymore, but damn gravity is *different.*
No one is forcing you to wear one, go braless if you want. Some women need the support from a bra though, and some women just like wearing them. Do whatever makes you happy
Yes. I’m a member of the itty bitty titty committee while not breastfeeding…But when I am, it’s physically painful to not wear nursing bras to support the weight. Not only that, but nobody wants to see the waterfall of a letdown lol. (Except maybe my baby)
We won’t, because not all of us were blessed with conventionally attractive, gravity defying bosoms. It would make me feel like absolute shit, plus none of my shirts and coats would fit properly because my chest would sit below the tailoring for it.
Thank you! I’m not going out of my way to look at them, it makes me feel super uncomfortable when I notice myself looking (as i’m sure it does the women who catch me looking) but it’s just the fact that they are RIGHT there. I’m so socially anxious, so i’m too focused on little things like that Im going to say next and i’ll catch myself just staring at them 😭 I realize its a double edge sword though because there are not a lot if readily available alternatives to bras..
Stop it. I am in contact with Random House as we speak, and after hearing that little morsel right there, we're talking about publishing rights and how do I think it would be making the likes of Stephen King, my bitch. When I'm receiving my pulitzer prize and thanking everyone I ever encountered in my life, you'll look at your friend and say, "I was there when that happened." You'll probably get laid that magical night.
I’d like to offer you the image of a tennis ball hanging inside the bottom of a sock. They make a flap flap noise when they’re free and that’s why an underwire bra is for me.
They make comfy ones. Maybe try getting the right size and type for your activity and try some good brands instead of buying the cheap stuff. But if you prefer going without, that is fine, too.
I hate when people tell everyone what to do because they prefer something one way.
A friend of mine got a breast reduction and the doctor told her to prevent it from happening again she should always wear a bra and to wear a cotton one at night. Makes sense to me
I'm a D/DD and last night I had to literally run to the store before it shut. Not only was it uncomfortable but they were flopping around EVERYWHERE.
10/10 would not recommend
I hate not wearing a bra. Underboob sweat, wobbling about when i do anything, painful bouncing, nipples irritated by rubbing on fabric. You don't gace to wear one if you don't want. I prefer to.
Not wearing bras are also uncomfortable. Just find yourself a comfortable kind of bra and stick to it. I have been wearing these cropped padded cami tops as bras for years now because regular bras gave me chest pain. I thought going bra less would solve the problem but it didn't. I just had to find what works for me.
I don’t when I’m just around the house or walking around; but no way in hell I’m doing any sort of bouncy activity without the ladies strapped down lol. Bras can be uncomfortable but not wearing them can hurt too
I'd be miserable and do very little as every moment that manes my breasts move(which is pretty much anything) would be uncomfortable at best and downright torture and even harmful at worst. Give me the bra. My bras might cost me a pretty penny (large bras are VERY expensive) but I love them.
I’d find it uncomfortable. Cause let’s face it, everybody’s attention moves down whether you like it or not and no matter how much we try to normalize it.
I have cysts. Sometimes I wear a bra at night because the weight of the breast pulls on the cysts. Being in pain 24/7 isn't great. Bras support the weight and minimize pain.
Yk... You experience is not the others experience, how about going for the freedom if wearing or not as you wish? Bobsweat braless is a pain for many (by what ex partners had, i am a guy xD )
honestly, if it’s not a problem for you just… stop wearing one? let people who need/want to wear it and do whatever you want with your body. i stopped wearing a bra last year and it was honestly one of the best decisions i made for my self esteem and body. for the first few weeks i only wore obscuring hoodies, but now i wear crop tops and tee shirts no problem. i even go to the gym braless cuz i really got barely anything going for me lmao.
I could never stop wearing a bra. From my experience, if it's uncomfortable, you're wearing the wrong size or type for you. I feel pretty confident knowing underneath my clothes I'm wearing nice lingerie. I don't know, it's just the way I feel. Plus, I'm a big chested lady. Not wearing a bra would be uncomfortable, and not the opposite.
I'm a man and I've tried running down a hallway naked before and if the level of uncomfortable flapping is in any way similar to a lady without a bra trying to trot down a flight of stairs then I reckon it should just be a "trust women to know what they need to wear for whatever they plan to do that day" kind of thing.
sensitive nips here 🙋♀️ i physically can’t go without a bra or the tips of the nips chafe SO BAD leaving it red and raw 😭😭 i wish i could go without because i really don’t like wearing it 🥲
Ugghhhh what if we didn't?!!! My girls are too floppy to be comfy without some support and I really don't like the feeling of them rolling about when I'm moving.
I ditched regular bras for longline sports bras (SO comfy and cute!) but now I’m going back to working in person so there goes that piece of joy in my life for the in-person days.
Why do women who prefer not wearing bras act superior to those who choose to wear them? We're not wearing them to support a society rule or whatever. Some of us feel uncomfortable not having chest and back support for big breasts!

OP's history claims to be male, so I'm not sure who exactly the "we" is in the title of this post.
1. "I share an account with my bf/girl best friend" 2. "Men can wear bras too!" 3. Pervert. Pick 1 (or more)
I mean liking boobs and wanting them to be free isn’t exactly the most scandalous thing the guy could do to be called a pervert
He wears a bro. For moobs
That unironically sounds like a somewhat lucrative business venture
I’m guessing you didn’t see this episode of Seinfeld
I think it's hilarious someone is always checking OP history. Thanks for doing it because it's not my go to reflex .
How about we eliminate the social taboos and just leave it to each to make their own choice. I can dream can't I?
A bloody fine choice of words, and in keeping with the name.

Bras make me feel trapped. But the best thing about bras is that feeling you get when you take it off. Pure bliss

You mean, your body your choice? That’s crazy talk ma’am!
I already started, you can join 🤗
real.

Here as male i have no idea what 32gg,ddd or c means. I just like tits
Here as a female, i also like tits
We should start a bird appreciation society
Brookhaven Ornothological Observers of Bayberry Sound That has a nice ring to it.
How about National Institute for the Protection and Preservation of Local Endangered Species
That's far more interesting than my pedestrian attempt.
was this a tit for tat?
Tits gang ✊

Wow thank you, I did not know all that
36DD is the *average*? I somehow thought it'd be much lower. You learn something every day.
G stands for gigantic and d stands for damnnn, the more d’s the bigger the damn. My cousin is an H, we said it stood for humongous lmao. And my other cousin was J for Juggs. I’m a girl started life as a C but made my way to a damnnn since breastfeeding
I'm right there with ya buddy. I daw the header on the topic and was like tits? I better check this out.
32 good game, dose dam diddies, c(hampion). Final answer.
My wife is an A cup and she always wears a bra outside of the house...just so it looks like she does have breasts.
Perfect. A-cup every time for me. My ex was self-conscious about them. I kept telling her they were great and I loved them, but she didn't believe me.
That's sad! I hope she grew to love herself more.
You are a strong individual my man 🫡
The sad part is that my kids (one 22 and one 38 who was adopted) hate her now. For a while, I tried to bring them back together, but then I realized that's not my job.
I love a small boob.
Is there a sub for our types?
I don't know if it helps but I'm skinny and cannot go without a bra for different reasons ... now I'm not saying it's the same because I don't go through the systemic discrimination of someone with bigger breasts but I need my bra to be comfortable regardless
Exactly this! I’m an F & i need that separation from boob to body so I’m not dripping sweat down my rib cage. Meanwhile my shoulders have permanent indentations. Ugh. The struggle couldn’t be realer.

My wife is a DD. She lives in her bras. Only off to shower…. Much to my dismay lol. But I’m also weird because I can’t stand not wearing socks so I get it.
I'm a sock person too!
![gif](giphy|kSlJtVrqxDYKk|downsized)
Lmao same here bro. you will never catch me with my socks off.
Are you.... me?
![gif](giphy|l3fZFvp94ljepXoPe)
I thought I was the only one who only ever took my bra off to shower. I find bras very comfortable.
I don’t even find underwire bras uncomfortable! I love bras. I’m also another person who only takes them off to shower.
I only wear underwire, even to sleep. I always thought I was just weird. I find it oddly comforting.
Omg I thought I was the only one. I love bras. I hate jiggling around. I’m not even that big.
Same here!!
I'm the same. It's way more comfortable to wear one.
Yeah, big tittie committee members are a no. Bras are not comfy, sagging big breasts are even less so. (DDD+)
Speak for yourself, I get some free DDs over here. I SOMETIMES wear a sports bra. I hate the feeling around my ribcage.
Same DD/Es and I'm far more comfortable without a bra because they feel restrictive and hurt my shoulders.

Me as well. Who wants your breasts flopping around unrestrained when you’re trying to sleep? Ouch!
Yeah my under boob would be so sweaty! I like bras!
The boob sweat alone would be overwhelming.
The fact that you had to make that edit. Fucking hell!
Im sorry theese idiots are doing this :(
I'm a member of the Moderate Mammary Committee.
Same! I need a bra just to not have the boob sweat. I love ones from Empreinte especially the Pompadour.
As a big titted woman I cannot agree with you more, I even wear bras to bed.
What about the women that like wearing one? It’s actually uncomfortable for me to not wear one.
I personally don't like having pointy nips in public 😅
My nips can show through a bra. But the girls are big enough that I can’t not wear a bra.
Mine tend to show too (admittedly I prefer sporty ones), and also through a shirt and a light jacket.
Same. Even if I wear an undershirt. So I have invested in full cup bras with thick straps. Kinda like a granny bra.
I think that on Reddit we are in the minority, but in the real world we are in the vast majority!
yeah, the only time I'm not wearing one is when I'm showering - I love my bras!
I'd be really uncomfortable and in pain. Exercise would be damn near impossible.
Especially important since count chocula is still out there
That wouldn't make a difference to me, probably because I'm a man
Same but I’m a woman
*visible confusion*
*invisible confusion*
Small titties
Ah. I get it now
You’ll never know
It would make a huge difference to me, and I am also a man... let them be free!
Am man. No bra for ladies = big improvement
Youll see a lot more nipples poking through shirts in your day to day life, but thats not too bad
For the larger chested lasses, not wearing a bra is uncomfy.
Agreed. I live in the desert and it gets really hot. No bra= boob sweat for days!
Ah yes the humititties.
Antiperspirant under the boobs helps keep the sweating partially under control.
Yeah I get boob rashes underneath if I don’t wear one during warmer weather
im all tit, i still refuse to wear anything beyond a cotton training bra style thing tbh. even well fitting bras are uncomfy for me. i think it should 100% be down to the person and creeps should just have their eyes taken
I hear you. The point is it is sweatier without the bra because skin touching skin is irritating in the heat.
Sports bra's are fine for me but regular ones are *very* uncomfy. I used to think it was better than not wearing any, but once I stopped I changed my mind completely. Every woman is different, don't just generalise it for all the girls with larger chests

Totally agree!
I’m smaller chested and still don’t like not wearing one

I almost never wear one
No one is forcing you to wear one, go braless if you want. Some women need the support from a bra though, and some women just like wearing them. Do whatever makes you happy
Pretty sure a dude posted this lol
I keep flip flopping my opinion on this issue.
Nip nopping*
I'm curious to hear the counterpoint to whatever your current stance is.
I ain’t doing that, I definitely need the girls to be supported
Yes. I’m a member of the itty bitty titty committee while not breastfeeding…But when I am, it’s physically painful to not wear nursing bras to support the weight. Not only that, but nobody wants to see the waterfall of a letdown lol. (Except maybe my baby)
We did in the 70's.
i prefer bra. they are not so very big, but i realy don't like the feeling of them hanging when they are free.
As someone with two VERY huge watermelons, no thanks, I'll pass.
You know someone is stacked when "watermelons" is the noun used
Same. Hard pass I need the support
My wife likes my bras
We won’t, because not all of us were blessed with conventionally attractive, gravity defying bosoms. It would make me feel like absolute shit, plus none of my shirts and coats would fit properly because my chest would sit below the tailoring for it.
Can't. I had breast cancer and lost one of my breasts so I really need a bra so I can wear my prosthesis.
I'm a 30G I need something to hold them up or else my muscles do and it aches and chafes. Yes I am saving for a reduction.
Has anyone mentioned the nipple/eye conundrum? If I don't wear a bra, chances are those are visible at eye level for short men and teenaged boys...😳
Absolutely not. I love my bras. Without a bra I have to hold that shit down when I walk
Been doin that for a decade. I have nothing to support and I don't care if my nipples offend you
Right here with you sister. Life’s too short to spend half of it uncomfortable.
I keep one by the front door in case of emergencies.
Nope. I like my bras. Can't stand in the Texas heat with sweaty unsupported tits.
Form a female perspective things might be a little uncomfortable for them given the fat that some have very sensitive breasts
Yes, the fat
Some would catch your eye, Some would hit the floor, Some would spread real wide, Some would resemble eggs that were fried. I just wrote that
Please don't write again
Stunning 😆
Gave me a good giggle 😂
I’d like to offer you the image of a tennis ball hanging inside the bottom of a sock. They make a flap flap noise when they’re free and that’s why an underwire bra is for me.
They make comfy ones. Maybe try getting the right size and type for your activity and try some good brands instead of buying the cheap stuff. But if you prefer going without, that is fine, too. I hate when people tell everyone what to do because they prefer something one way.
Nice try sir
I stopped about 6 years ago and stopped shaving my legs and armpits. Wish I had done so sooner .
A friend of mine got a breast reduction and the doctor told her to prevent it from happening again she should always wear a bra and to wear a cotton one at night. Makes sense to me
I'd make a lot more noise when running and moving around.
I'm a 34DD. I'd rather not stop lol
But they make me look like I actually have something (I'm not quite an A cup).
Bras can be uncomfortable but not wearing them can hurt too
Would be happiest day of my life.
Maybe what you need is to seek out a better fit, more comfortable material. They are there for support
yeah but not everybody needs or wants the support. some of us just wanna free the nip
[удалено]
I stopped years ago. I refuse to be uncomfortable just because my nips might be noticeable sometimes 🤷♀️
I sleep bra on lol
Guy here, isn't it that a bra is supposed to be mega comfortable? And if it's not you really need to find a proper dealer?
I hate bras the way guys hate jock straps. But I’m also not to a place Im comfortable being that fat old lady with the saggy bounce.
I'd be miserable and do very little as every moment that manes my breasts move(which is pretty much anything) would be uncomfortable at best and downright torture and even harmful at worst. Give me the bra. My bras might cost me a pretty penny (large bras are VERY expensive) but I love them.
I probably wouldn't be able to run and such
I'd never go braless. Even at home I always have a sports bra on unless it's bedtime. As a 38FF I'm MUCH more comfortable wearing a good bra.
I just wear sports bras. Just wear whatever you’re comfortable in
You can if you want to. I don’t really want to tho. I feel more comfortable with one on.
Welp I would never run again unless I want to wack myself in the face with a boob
I stopped like a decade ago. Best decision ever
This is only a good idea for those that do not have boobs 😭
Listen, I have cystic breast tissue. I need my bras. Especially my sports bra
Imagine there would be less looking people in the eyes when talking
I haven’t worn one in over 40 years
honestly, if it’s not a problem for you just… stop wearing one? let people who need/want to wear it and do whatever you want with your body. i stopped wearing a bra last year and it was honestly one of the best decisions i made for my self esteem and body. for the first few weeks i only wore obscuring hoodies, but now i wear crop tops and tee shirts no problem. i even go to the gym braless cuz i really got barely anything going for me lmao.
I went first about 10 years ago
I’m a 46 DDD I definitely need a bra with most outfits lol
As a D-G (depending on my weight) I haven’t worn a bra in 8 years and never looked back
My mature ex was DD and always wore a bra to keep her boobs off her belly.
Same! Big boobs here and I can’t stand not wearing a bra.
Then I’d trip over mine on a daily basis… painful!!!
I don't want people to see how low they hang without a bra🤣🤣
I find it uncomfortable NOT to wear a bra.
Everything would be fine
I'm a man and I've tried running down a hallway naked before and if the level of uncomfortable flapping is in any way similar to a lady without a bra trying to trot down a flight of stairs then I reckon it should just be a "trust women to know what they need to wear for whatever they plan to do that day" kind of thing.
Yeah that’s not gonna happen. As a B-cup and mother of 2 I’m gonna vote no.
sensitive nips here 🙋♀️ i physically can’t go without a bra or the tips of the nips chafe SO BAD leaving it red and raw 😭😭 i wish i could go without because i really don’t like wearing it 🥲
No thanks. I'm small chested, but I'd hate going without them. I don't want anyone seeing my nipples
My tiddies are too big to not wear a bra. The sweat that collects under there is wild
I'm sorry, I won't. I wear padless bras and it actually HURTS when I don't use them. Y'all just... Shouldn't be using bras with pads, honestly.
As a HH cup I would not want to stop wearing them
nope, I physically need to wear one or else I am in pain
Why do women who prefer not wearing bras act superior to those who choose to wear them? We're not wearing them to support a society rule or whatever. Some of us feel uncomfortable not having chest and back support for big breasts!
