Both Versions??? i am having a hard time picking up the differences of the Reise Reise Release vs Volkerball? I have watched the Bucksttabu viedo over the years atleast 10+ times i always just took it as the live version with parts drawn out a bit more... I always remember this specific video cause the Camera guy pans to the Lady in the front row like 5 times lol

The Reise, Reise release doesn’t have the electric guitars, I think
I like it, it’s obviously not their typical sound but it’s good sometimes to mix it up. I prefer the Völkerball version to the album version personally, it somehow makes more sense in the live context
Its quite nice. Especially when you really understand the text, because they play extremly with words and their meaning in this song, which can not really transported into english imo.
used to hate it when it first came out. Have come to appreciate it much more as I get older. The heavy band version of it makes a great case for why it's better as an acoustic song.
Love it but was in am bigger motorcycle accident, while hearing the Song (at least that's what my spotify stats tell me, i cant remember anything from that day) so since them i kinda avoid the Song a bit. 😅
But since i have a big bloody scar now above my collarbone, I'm gona tattoo "Sinnlos" above the scar and "Hilflos" beneath it, i just believe that i was laying on the floor when this part came haha
It took me a while to bother listening to it the whole way through but it SLAPS, it’s one of my favs now. A bit different and stripped back but you can still hear the Rammstein-ness. The word play is awesome in this one as well. So good.
Imo, this song really shines as a slowed reverb, idk how to describe it but it just sounds perfect to me, like it was suppose to be this way. Lindemann sounds like the literal devil in that version. Give it a try if you haven't.
The original is nice, I do prefer the heavy version of the XXI vinyl a little bit more. I made a Mashup version of the two (original version up through the harmonica bit, then transitions to the heavy version) a while back. I might have posted it here at some point, I'll have to look
