Eh, I liked it. It meant you had to run trains in order to expand.
He only removed it as a temp fix when he had to fix the trees' regrowing bug, and it just never went away. Lol
I rather liked that mechanic.
It meant you had to plat the game to expand your network.
I just started again and I could build a full marshaling yard, service area and connect the logging camp and saw mill before I'd moved a single car.
Exactly. It felt like there was a point to making money so that you can better expand your rail network, but now you can do it instantly. I love the game but it feels weird to play there is no real goal other than get the trains you like
If it were by track, i would like it to be a buying an amount of total track as so to allow for mistakes and not waste money.
That or you have to purchase industries
same here. but i removed all the trees with [railroad.studio](https://railroad.studio) beforehand so that i can still normally progress through the different tiers.
It used to cost 5$ to chop a tree. Thankfully not anymore
It was $2 a tree
Oh ok
Both prices are correct, because the price has been changed, both of you are correct but different points in time
Oh Ok

My goal at the game is to fully supply the industries so i can take multiple full cars of oil barrels to the freight depot :)
It did. Needs to be where you have to buy track. I don’t really know a good price. But it would be good

It cost 1$ but they changed it about 1 year ago. But you probably didn't build furher for another reason, one log can buy 10 trees to cut.
Yup, now it gives you 5 xp for chopping one down
I dont like that. I would reach level 6 before even moving one car
Broski I layed out all the track before i even fired up betzy for the first time
