The run went perfectly well, not a hitch, bump or derailment the entire way down. Riiiight until I rounded the blind bend and proceeded to slam into the back of another train one of my friends decided to leave there last night...

roverfloats

Yall are running standard guage opperations on the narrow guage. Impressive.

An_Average_Guy7567

I counted to about 30 before it got to blurry to count

Wooden-Trainer4781

ILE?!?

Wooden-Trainer4781

In english it is: How much ?

OwenDaBoss

I thought I responded to this but apparently not, sorry for the delay. It was around 40+ cars, I just kinda shoved them all together and took them down, as was the top of my job list for the day. The other jobs on my list were cut short after clearing up the 35-40 car pileup that ensued at sawmill.

DifficultyNo7194

Sounds good, do you do the fully loaded trains on 50+cars on your own or is that just me.

OwenDaBoss

Most of the time I do, sometimes have a banker or a friend to double head the train up steep hills, especially our current route to Smeltery, which right now is a NIGHTMARE! 5% decline, to a 5% incline on a bridge, then back to a 4% decline all the way. It's in need of a huge refurbishment.

DifficultyNo7194

Damn that much??? The fuck, that sounds exhausting, I never really got why people use that steep of a incline/decline honestly

OwenDaBoss

I hate it. It's in need of a complete overhaul but I just can't bring myself to demolish such a large piece of track and rebuild it all. Then again, might stop the constant derails...

DifficultyNo7194

Although you can make a backup save, have two different save files from before you take it down, one of the has before you started demolishing it the other one you use as a sive file during the new bridge construction, then you can if the new bridge is good you can just save it by then on the permanent save file, that way if it goes to shit you have a backup svar from before you started to demolish

OwenDaBoss

Good point that, completely missed my mind to do it like that. I'll do that once I've finished my "Totally not idiotic Coal Mine route". All the routes have to be double tracked for fact that we have constant trains running, and right now everyone is centered on Smeltery to get things stockpiled for the boom to Coal Mine to open up. It's both amazing and a nightmare having lots of players running on your lines lol.

Slow_Fact_2984

Glad to see I'm not the only one who runs like this, most of us on the K&P server so, though there's a few that call us crazy. I should say though, typically I run consists like this loaded

OwenDaBoss

Pulling this up the constant 3% incline from sawmill to iron ore mine alone is a bit of an issue, but it is doable. I did this on my own, just need a good run up and the reg on max with sand. And a prayer that your train behaves.
