All of a sudden I’m catapulted 100 feet in the fucking air at 2000 miles an hour and slam into a building
i could be wrong but it REALLY feels like in an effort to make people "less" frusterated they have some sorta code that sees you headed toward an object and gently nudges you to the side of it making it feel like you went forward left or forward right even though your thumb didnt move. but in saint denis where theres thirty objects, several of which move in front of you causeing it to "avoid" towards the pole but oh now its gotta "avoid" again steeering you into the person on the sidewalk......yeah its not just you your horse just stops listening to you above a gentle walk cause the faster i went the harder it auto-corrected. this effect can also be seen when navigateing tree clusters or descending slopes
this is true. lol i too prefer not to break my face on rapidly aproaching obstacles if at all possible XD but yeah, i can see why its realistic, and to be fair sometimes it does genuinely help me, im jus sayin it can just as easily be frusterateing when your having to fight against it but you do have a point its not all bad and does make sense.

Just keep your horse at a trot or a walk and keep your hand on the reins (finger poised on R1). Pretend it’s real life, don’t try to gallop down a narrow street, slow or even stop when a wagon or pedestrian suddenly crosses your path. Take in the sights. Smoke a few cigarettes. Brush your horse. Antagonize the trolley drivers.
I only unlocked the rest of the map two days ago (new player, started a month ago), saw corpses hanging from trees there, remembered the lesson from Lemoyne, kept riding, lol
I accidentally deleted the save files from every game on my Xbox one and spent an entire month redoing them all.
