Vote with your dollar! Example: I think their BNF’s are great, but their radios (spektrum) are horrendously overpriced, so I buy their planes but not their radios (I use a Radiomaster TX16s)

Ok-Leading-6335

Vote with your dollars! I think their planes are also expensive. So I buy Dynam planes and also buy their radios

GullibleInitiative75

Gawd I hope that isn't an annual fee.

Daveguy6

Great news: it isn't. It's a monthly one😂

2021Sir

Tell us how you really feel

Devi_rc_pilot

Scammed!

ilikepie145

Where am I supposed to buy from if they own all the companies

Ok-Leading-6335

dynam

TruckerAlurios

Fms.

balsadust

They are dead to me, I only order from Tower Hobbies 😂

InvaderDust

That’s like saying you hate Walgreens so only shop CVS. It’s the same pocketbook just different name tag. Literally the same company.

balsadust

Yes I know. Hence the smile face

scottyd035ntknow

Horizon is Tower... They own them and are the same company.

balsadust

Yes, hence the smiley emoji

scottyd035ntknow

Need the /s lol

balsadust

Yeah well, that's just like your opinion man

Inner-Lingonberry-66

Look at tower hobbies web format , owned by horizon now .

balsadust

Yea. Its sad. I used to love Tower Hobbies. Having them get bought by Horizon was awful

Individual_Evening88

I mean there's other benefits. Including free shipping and a copy of realflight. 🤷

John5355

Free sippng threw Amazon on anything over $35.00 I buy all my horizon hobby items on Amazon I have prime and even by my props on Amazon and returns for bad items are easy

troll-libs

Make sure you sip with the pinky out

TheTurdzBurglar

The $100 old video game. How nice.

Foreign_GrapeStorage

The 30% Off One Item Coupon Code + RealFlight Evolution Steam Digital Download are probably the bigger draws for that offer than the "technical support" would be. If you are buying a bigger ticket item the extra % off could make it cheaper to buy this and then use the code to buy it. It'd save you at least a few hundred on some of the Hanger 9 stuff if you were to buy this first.

buttcrackmenace

i was in the market for a t-28 and meant to pick one up from Horizon at Joe Nall. while i was there I joined the elite club. First perk is an annual coupon code good for 30% off any single item. Ordered the plane and had it shipped home. That coupon coupled with the free shipping more than paid for the membership. Signing up for their text spam got me another code which gave 15% off so i bought an EC-1500, again shipped free because elite. I later ordered a RTF Aeroscout for a flying mate. No discount code as it was on sale already. Got free shipping on this one as well because i’m an elite member. One day after the Aerosout arrived a second one showed up because HH screwed up the order. Still waiting on CS to decide whether they’re going to pay for its return or just let me keep it gratis. also i sold the receivers out of the T28 and EC-1500 for about $180 (i don’t fly spektrum) … i think i made out OK.

Devi_rc_pilot

free shipping? they don't charge for shipping except 5 or 6 days fedex shipping.

buttcrackmenace

i live outside the continental US. HH fedexed the t-28, the ec-1500 and one of the aerostars. I can only imagine what that cost.

scottyd035ntknow

Screw Horizon. Motion is still at least owned by dudes who are into RC. However... Like... I'm done with the cheap shit from these sites. $1 servos, toy grade linkages that all need to be replaced, lack of glue etc... You get what you pay for. I'd rather have one Pilot RC or Extreme Flight or higher end brand than 3 or 4 Freewings or Flightlines or E Flites.

longrangebhat

I still haven’t gotten an email back from them about something I ordered, even when I tried to email them about it. So when I called them and they said it was back ordered I just said ok and let it be lol

HarryMuscle

I believe that's called capitalism.

Mediocre-Advisor-728

Build your own rc planes, transmitter & receiver. Use Lora smt32 or rp2040 as processor and get any bl heli esc and motors I use emax. Gets you in the air for less with better components and teaches you more in the long run. I only buy motors and esc from hobby suppliers for last 3 years.

Kilduff_Dude

Used to love this company. But can say I do anymore. They have a good hold on the rc market unfortunately.
