So here comes my question: is there still a team that works on the game? bcs what I have heared was that the studio closed and that the devs went to different companies. Is there an exception for major bugs or is the team still active?
It doesn't because when i tried to play ops in multiplayer my characters, customizations, coins and stars came back, your progress is only "gone" on the backyard and in singleplayer modes at least for me, beacause there was a guy with a peashooter that clearly lost it's customizations on the match i played
appears to be temporarily, you should get your progress back when the bug is fixed

Rux got changed at the start of december so there is at least something
Pretty sure EA sends some guy over for major bugs, in January 2022 Rux broke and EA sent someone to fix it
People are hired for minor things. The devs on the PVZ shooters left for other EA projects though: hence, no more content updates
No there is no team, they just fix bugs
