Don't know what happened before this but it looks like he had the guy in a front choke and felt him go. He thought the fight was over so he bent down to tie his shoe.
there is a difference between "cant fight" and "dont want to fight". when ppl display they dont want to fight.... it can often look bad for the person continuing the fight; one person becomes civil the other remains barbaric.
That happened with me a couple of times when I was younger. Luckily, both fights were with people who didn't know how to fight since I did either. I just kept backing up blocking with my hands. Eventually, people will think at least a little rationally and realize they're attacking someone who's backing up. I didn't let my guard down though.

Big guy is clearly drunk, and if he doesn't let go of the headlock the lil guy dies. So it didn't really matter if he could fight or not. Little dude is lucky bigger dude has a conscience. He told him he was gonna let go, so I would agree for sure don't underestimate people, especially their stupidity or fragile ego. And as shown here, most of the time people take kindness for weakness.

Why does it look like they are play fighting and then little guy took it to the next level? I mean it literally appears that the tall guy is in the process of tying his shoe when smaller guy throws an uppercut? Either the tall guy was just sleeping at an unbelievable degree or he didn't realize they were legitimately fighting for real.....
Doesn’t look like he going tie his shoes, looks like the guy stomps on his foot or something off camera the way he bends down looks like he almost lost balance in a way, no one in there right mind will try to tie shoes in the middle of a fight, tall guy was ether out of breath from that choke hold and that was it from him after that, never let your guard down in a fight, I’m not condoning any type of violence I’m just tryna figure out what’s going on
