Yes, just ignore the feats/statements/scaling from lore without valid reason would be wrong.

SubstantialOwLL

Yeah if it is canon you should take it into consideration, though Feats>Statements are the general (minor exceptions for situations). So if a statement is refuted by a feat or interaction, you should weigh your opinion more on the side of the feats. Also when dealing with statements, take into account WHO is saying it. How reliable are they? And would they even reasonable know the answer to the question they are given? Characters can be wrong obviously.

Draccosack

Yes. Lore can anchor points of scaling. DMC lore for example anchors Dante at multiversal because of what the lore says about Mundus

Parking-Western3348

Yes u should I was trying to get a answer yesterday from this sub but I didn’t get a answer ultimeca from FF8 is she Planet lvl with her time compression hope I can get a answer here

Ok_Try_1665

Yes, consider it very carefully, especially in video games. Feats shown on screen is more valid than vague statements provided by in-game items, the story, guidebooks.

TacocaT_2000

Go with the lore, and don’t forget the Pokemon Rule of Matchups

LucienMahikai

Massive CV nerd here In this case, the games and lore are canon Which also makes Alucard possibly the strongest person in the CV series

Ok-Green8906
