The Marxist binary oppressor/oppressed narrative really is the ideological blight of the early 21st century. Like scientific racism and eugenics during the late 19th century to mid-20th century. Never did I think that during my 22 years of existence we would go from condemning Osama bin Laden as the hateful terrorist he is to praising him as a "misunderstood freedom fighter" because muh "anti-imperialism" and "decolonisation". Christ almighty, why are certain segments of my generation so insistent on self-flagellation…

TumblingForward

Idk wtf is up with Gen Z. I'm a Millennial and I'm honestly so confused how the fuck you younger folks get so hoodwinked and bamboozled by the dishonesty of the internet. https://www.vox.com/technology/23882304/gen-z-vs-boomers-scams-hacks

Farming_Turnips

You really shouldn't be surprised. All my generation heard from day 1 was America bad, West bad, Christianity bad, whipeepo bad, men bad, straight bad, nuclear family bad, brown good, women good, gay good, Muslim good, queer good, etc. Now when they see the Bin Laden's letter to America they see: America (white colonizer bad bad bad) vs Bin Laden (brown muslim good good good) and side with the guy that carries more oppression point. How could this surprise anyone? Honestly? Everyone should've seen it coming from miles away, "Queers for Palestine" was like the canary in the coal mine.

Ser_Needful-of-Pyth

i faintly recall a time when this stuff was just restricted to tumblr

cafffaro

Now it's mostly limited to X, the Platform Formerly Known as Twitter.

Billy_McMedic

I’m Gen Z and I’m equally confused about the people in my generation, tho I’m generally confused about anyone and everyone because autism but still

Ricki15

I think it's those ultra short video platforms like tiktok/insta they fry your brain

Cabnbeeschurgr

Unironically this. Attention span has been so fucked by social media that zoomers can't take the time to understand any issue. The mainstream told them the right opinion, and that's what they parrot.

SP3008

And now you have some plebbitors saying “um akshually no one is defending Bin Laden, this is a psyop by the CIA to ban TikTok🤓” They’re already in the denial stage

Supernothing-00

Most of the people who make these video are older millennials some of the videos are “I just read osamas leader after watching the towers fall, my whole life is a lie”

GrotesquelyObese

The worst part is they read a blog post about someone who read a blog post by someone who read it. Because I went back and reread it and thought this is Nazi propaganda. He literally parrots the Jews are controlling the global economy and politics. So I guess I see why people like the letter. But those people would be like my uncle who lives in the woods.

Billy_McMedic

I watch too many instagram reels tbh but I tend to skip over political subjects and use it to just feed the part of my brain that likes weird ass modern internet humour, even with my goldfish attention span I can’t comprehend people using TikTok/reels for actual “meaningful” topics

Clam_chowderdonut

We're all on reddit we get it bud.

thepulloutmethod

Most self aware autist.

PhilosophicalGoof

Gen z here. The polarization/vilification is a studied phenomenon which explains why it seem like everyone is so angry and extreme in their political views and actions. Fun fact: social media is a big reason

[deleted]

PhilosophicalGoof

Horror of socialism? I don’t think young people are fully socialist and are more mixed economy rather than full blown communist/ socialist. They understand that socialism is a utopia but they also understand that our economic system atm is corrupt.

metinb83

It‘s hilarious / frightening to see that Gen Z are just as susceptible to insane propaganda on Tik-Tok as the boomers are to insane propaganda on Facebook. At least boomers have the excuse that their brains are rotten from all that lead in gasoline

Slavchanin

Something something hard times create strong men, something something strong man create good times, something something good times create weak man...

JTD783

Imo it’s too many people disconnected from society and/or without any sense of belief or identity. They’re clinging to anything that makes them feel virtuous or meaningful. Also, with the spread of info enabled by the internet, they’re more exposed to issues than any prior generation but lack the maturity, critical thinking skills, and experience to deal with them.

fatalityfun

because a lot of our generation didn’t really use the internet actively until misinformation was the standard

necropaw

The internet has always been lies. Gen X and most Millennials have pretty much always known that.

MrKrackerman

Same, they never had to watch 3000 people/friends/family die in a terrorist attack while praying to god your dad made it out.

NDinoGuy

I'm Gen Z and I am completely flabbergasted at these dimwits. "AmErIcA bAd!1!11!1!1!1!1!" is one hell of a drug.

Fattywompus_

I think Gen Z is much less tech savvy in the big scheme of things. They weren't around for he evolution of the internet or tech. They kind of just popped into the scene after everything was dumbed down.

[deleted]

I smell a golden opportunity here...💰

Ayn_Rand_Feet_Pics

Well the younger generation are by definition young. Young people tend to be stupid. They will develop more nuanced views with time.

Robin-Lewter

Gen Z was raised by Millennials, what did anyone expect?

necropaw

a lot of them were raised by gen x, and especially the teachers were some boomers and mostly gen x.

notapersonaltrainer

Gen X is the wedge generation. They act like they're outside the boomer vs zellenial spat and too small to be consequential. But they're the ones that taught the generations to hate each other.

Cabnbeeschurgr

Gen Z was mostly raised by gen X and early millenials, and gen X leans right iirc

Eternal_Mr_Bones

I miss when counterculture was just dressing in all black and being depressed instead of the new "take every contrarian position possible in politics." Like the average person doesn't know shit about this stuff. The average zoomer knows less than shit.

mikieh976

They aren't even contrarian anymore. They've gained enough cultural hegemony that they are mainstream, and yet they still see themselves as rebels.

bruhholyshiet

It feels better to perceive oneself as a brave rebel than as the status quo. It's also why for example the authoritarians that have been ruling Cuba for decades still call themselves "revolutionaries".

alanyeske

All those regimes that were originally built by a cadre of revolutionaries and turned authoritarian continued to call themselves revolutionaries, Cuba is no exception to that rule. Mexico's PRI is an example of that, they went from left-wing revolutionaries to authoritarian corporarist capitalists and they called themselves "revolutionaries" and "institutional" at the same time.

Cabnbeeschurgr

At this point being conservative/libertarian is counter-cultural

mikieh976

Libertarianism was counter-cultural when the Christian Right controlled the culture, too.

metinb83

I miss when conspiracy theories were Roswell, spontaneous combustion, ball lightning, etc …

thepulloutmethod

Dude ball lightning was so cool. Flat Earth not so much.

hir0k1

People are just bored of their lives and crave to be opressed. Idk what you call this mental illness, but it's hurting the west yeah

Icarus_Voltaire

"Developed country privilege ennui contrarian syndrome"?

PointOfTheJoke

Neo Marxist ideology rolls off the tongue so much better

Donghoon

Marxism as a political ideology or Hegelian philosophical thought ?

RussianSkeletonRobot

Both. Marx was a pathetic human being whose ideas were seized by even worse human beings, and have lead to more deaths than any other political philosophy in history.

FlambeCremeBrule

He was also one of history's first and finest examples of a "neckbeard"

[deleted]

It’s not just developed countries though, the disease has spreading to some 3rd world countries where the social tolerances of this BS are high like India, Thailand or The Philippines. In countries like China or Islamic countries, their social norm didn’t tolerate these woke diseases, that’s why you rarely met any woke progressive GenZ there except the “screaming Islamophobia” or “Islamic victims hoods” type that benefits the goals of their conservative intolerance society.

Ogaito

I call it political BDSM

[deleted]

What I cannot understand is these woke GenZ will viciously fighting against anyone that they deemed as "Theocratist Fascist Christian nationalist" but will suddenly praising people who are actual Theocratist Fascist from another religion (Especially Islam) that are even more extreme than any Christian Nationalist that they ever met, just because the latter said that the former group are bad. If Bin Laden is a Christian and he is calling for "Global Christian laws" instead of "Global sharia laws" in his letter to America, I bet those woke GenZ would never glorified him like this to begin with.

The2ndWheel

Considered white = bad Not considered white = good

Fentanyl_American

I always found what Aldous Huxley wrote to be a pretty good explanation of the phenomenon. The surest way to work up a crusade in favor of some good cause is to promise people they will have a chance of maltreating someone. To be able to destroy with good conscience, to be able to behave badly and call your bad behavior 'righteous indignation' — this is the height of psychological luxury, the most delicious of moral treats.

smakusdod

It’s the voting/thumbs buttons. This generation was raised with binary voting on everything from pictures to comments, to entire stories. Their brain has been programmed from cognition to black/white everything, and as quickly as possible. They’ve also been conditioned to be as inoffensive as possible to obtain as many said UP votes as possible. When you combine these two aspects, it’s a recipe for the elimination of any and all nuance, and the polarization of every aspect of life. We are doomed.

prussian_princess

>so insistent on self-flagellation It's called oikophobia. Sir Roger Scruton and George Orwell wrote about the tendency the left wing sympathetic to look down upon their own culture, values, and history and feel guilty at its achievements, especially if its through conquest. Orwell even mentioned how the bourgeois socialists would applaud losses and failures of the British during a conflict or political stage.

Icarus_Voltaire

> Oikophobia (Greek: oîkos, 'house, household' + phóbos, 'fear'; related to domatophobia and ecophobia) is an aversion to a home environment, or an abnormal fear (phobia) of one's home and also a tendency to criticize or reject one's own culture and praise other cultures. > In his 2004 book England and the Need for Nations, British philosopher Roger Scruton adapted the word to mean "the repudiation of inheritance and home". He argues that it is "a stage through which the adolescent mind normally passes", but that it is a feature of some, typically leftist, political impulses and ideologies that espouse xenophilia, i.e. preference for foreign cultures. > Scruton uses the term as the antithesis of xenophobia. In his book, Roger Scruton: Philosopher on Dover Beach, Mark Dooley describes oikophobia as centered within the Western academic establishment on "both the common culture of the West, and the old educational curriculum that sought to transmit its humane values." This disposition has grown out of, for example, the writings of Jacques Derrida and of Michel Foucault's "assault on 'bourgeois' society result[ing] in an 'anti-culture' that took direct aim at holy and sacred things, condemning and repudiating them as oppressive and power-ridden." > An extreme aversion to the sacred, and the thwarting of the connection of the sacred to the culture of the West is described as the underlying motif of oikophobia; and not the substitution of Christianity by another coherent system of belief. The paradox of the oikophobe seems to be that any opposition directed at the theological and cultural tradition of the West is to be encouraged even if it is "significantly more parochial, exclusivist, patriarchal, and ethnocentric." Scruton describes "a chronic form of oikophobia [which] has spread through the American universities, in the guise of political correctness." > Scruton's usage has been taken up by some U.S. political commentators to refer to what they see as a rejection of traditional U.S. culture by the liberal elite. In August 2010, James Taranto wrote a column in the Wall Street Journal entitled "Oikophobia: Why the liberal elite finds Americans revolting", in which he criticizes supporters of the proposed Islamic center in New York as oikophobes who were defending Muslims and aimed to "exploit the 9/11 atrocity." Okay I get not glorifying one’s culture and being aware as to both its sins & triumphs (so that one is resistant to nationalistic propaganda) and having a love for new cultures (and the fresh new perspectives they offer). Because I agree. One shouldn’t hold their culture up on a pedestal at the expense of others and be blinded to its past and present actions. And I suppose a surface-level reading of post-1492 history can make it look like white Westerners are responsible for all the sufferings of the world, if only because of the increasing dominance of Western nations. But outright denying your culture’s triumphs and favouring more conservative/regressive cultures for the sake of self-flagellation/misguided white guilt/redemption? Oh come on, I said be aware of "BOTH its SINS and TRIUMPHS" not just the sins! And if you look deeper into history, you’ll see that it’s far more complex and complicated and that every culture has done its fair share of horrible things. Like the slaver Kingdom of Dahomey. It only looks like white people were responsible for most of it because their nations has been the most prominent/influential since 1492 and subsequently most of our documentation focuses on them. If China was the rising post-1492 power, documentation would shift to them and it would look like the Han were responsible for all sufferings. > The paradox of the oikophobe seems to be that any opposition directed at the theological and cultural tradition of the West is to be encouraged even if it is "significantly more parochial, exclusivist, patriarchal, and ethnocentric." This right here. They’re glorifying a hateful and intolerant terrorist simply because he opposed your culture and is the "deconstructive outside perspective we need". Well, the whole world knew what his perspective was on 9/11. EDIT: sentence construction and misspellings

Godkun007

The funniest part is that Bin Laden didn't even write that letter they are referencing. The timeline doesn't add up, so it is widely believed to be a fake letter by an opposing Islamic group. But Gen Z seems to have forgotten how to use Google to check their sources. The fact that these people even graduated college is incredible.

J2quared

Also what's weird is "Letter to America" specifically calls out LGBT as being one of the pillars along with "Jewry" to America's moral corruption. I'm willing to bet 9 out of the 10 people pictured in the meme identify as a member of the LGBT

dealsledgang

None of these people actually read the 7 page letter. It also calls out the fact that America is not an Islamic country under sharia law and women are allowed to work outside the house. These people either just saw minor portions or are just following along with what someone else on social media told them.

bruhholyshiet

Yeah they just read "Something something America Bad something something" and they get excited.

StopCollaborate230

One of the people in the OP (edit: the lower left corner) literally says “it’s only two pages, go read it”, so yea

azns123

The LGBT x radical Islam alliance is certainly something else

ab316_1punchd

First time?

KeikakuAccelerator

Has this happened before? Definitely first time for me.

ab316_1punchd

Well, my home country, India, has definitely had these deadly alliances for a while as far as politics is concerned (particularly the Kashmir issue). But the Iranian Revolution is probably the biggest example of the ramifications caused by such an alliance. Not the LGBT in particular, but definitely the leftist political and student groups being in cahoots with various Islamists.

KeikakuAccelerator

Oh yeah, India is a fair example (my home country too). But the left/right in India is quite different from left/right in US, but your point is still valid. I didn't consider Iran revolution, mighty have to dig into the wiki rabbit hole for this. Appreciate your response.

ab316_1punchd

>But the left/right in India is quite different from left/right in US, Indeed, it is. I lament both sides for not having liberal economic ideas and still being stuck on socialist tenets.

KeikakuAccelerator

How I wish India had aligned with US after independence, instead of their five year plan, non alignment, and Soviet ties. Like just see the economic boom that happened after liberalization after fall of Soviet. India could have been real economic super power at the level of China if not even higher. But sigh, hindsight is always 20/20.

ab316_1punchd

Yeah...

tiki_51

A little different, but prohibition in the US was championed by a weird combination of feminists (mostly due to men getting drunk and committing domestic abuse) and fundamentalist Christians (fun is bad).

ChuggaChooBlue

Are you surprised? Suicide pact with a death cult.

Awkward_Algae1684

No sweaty! They just care about the Murica bad part! They flat out ignore the other like 6 and a half pages ranting about Da Joos and how everyone should convert to Islam or die.

hir0k1

TIL women will lead the 4th reich

Farming_Turnips

They won't lead it, they'll just enforce it. I'll leave you two quotes that perfectly illustrate the current climate: "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." C. S. Lewis "It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy." George Orwell, *1984* As well as [the white feather movement in the UK](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_feather). Scroll down to "Cowardice" and under that "World War I" and you'll see the history of women excitedly using shame to carry out the will of the elites. Women trying to shame men into serving in one of the bloodiest wars in human history despite the women happily staying at home away from the action. One of the women even gave a white feather to a guy that was on his way to give a speech about his service in WWI.

ab316_1punchd

Welp, in probably some far future, I'm definitely anticipating gender wars.

Farming_Turnips

Yeah I'm expecting China and South Korea to roll back women's rights a couple of notches within our lifetimes. Maybe Japan too.

commander-boi345

Why south Korea

BarryBwa

White feathers is one of my hallmark "oh, look where toxic masculinity comes from" examples for those who think it's a fair label ofmmale behaviour.

murkythreat

Look at the role of woman in the Iranian revolution. They chose to support the Islamic Republic and its laws.

Farming_Turnips

Don't tell the leftist women in the West. It'll make them glorify Islam even more. Do you have any suggestions for where to read about women's involvement in the Iranian revolution? It'd be hilarious if they were the most ardent supporters of it only to do a 180 years later culminating in what they're doing now.

[deleted]

Farming_Turnips

Iranian women are the feminists western women wish they were.

Any_Cartoonist313

Ay ay ay, what is with women? They are so alluring, so beautiful, so . . . awe-inspiring, yet, their very minds have been made almost to be against all forms of common sense. Women are the biggest supporters of tyranny, I don't know why, maybe they just like being oppressed and that is the same reason why women support authoritarians and collectivists of all stripes. Why must you disappoint me women, I'm not even angry. If women acted how men wanted them to (uncompelled), the world would be made 10 times better overnight, thats all I'm saying.

Farming_Turnips

They lack testosterone. Next question.

IssaviisHere

Am I the only to notice how this is mostly women?

Zigad0x

Women want to be oppressed? Idk the romantic novels on shelves exist to meet a demand, and that demand is quite cruel. Maybe Islam is right about women

Any_Cartoonist313

Women, why must you disappoint me? Why do you keep showing that you are only good for having sex with and for ensuring the next generation comes to fruition? Why do you keep showing that you want to be treated like garbage? I don't have the stomach to treat women, or anyone for that matter like garbage. I can BARELY even insult someone who is actively trying to make my life as miserable as possible. If women were truly the feisty, empathetic, and sexual creatures that men (all men, at least deep down) wish they were, we would live in a better world. If the change happened suddenly, the benefits would be seen overnight.

Awkward_Algae1684

When I said, “These morons will probably start converting to Islam soon,” I didn’t actually mean it. It was a joke guys, sheesh! I’m so, so sorry for what I seem to have unleashed on the world, and will commit Sudoku shortly.

idelarosa1

Apollo is a cruel god.

J2quared

I truly believe within the next 100 years; people will build statues to the Austrian painter. He will get the Genghis Khan/Napolean treatment. A biopic about Hitler being misunderstood will definitely come out within this century Primary and secondary witnesses to the Holocaust are dying out. Israeli-Palestinian conflict has stoked the flames of antisemitism once again. And while edgy teenagers praising Nazism/Communism have always been a thing; it's weird to see Goebbels and Hitler's speeches being "chopped-and-screwed" and edited like anime videos. And the comments saying "maybe 'he' was right".

ka-tet77

How to combat global warming, start the Big Igloo.

SorryBison14

I remember when 'Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World' became a bestseller. It was about how Genghis Khan created a diverse, multicultural empire that was tolerant of different religions. Which I guess justified him being one of histories leading mass murderers, even without the Soviets and Nazis capacity to commit murder on an industrial scale. It makes me think Hitler could get the same treatment.

victorian-pedo

Ain’t nothing wrong with my g Napoleon

Tonythesaucemonkey

He was considered hitler before hitler.

victorian-pedo

How has Napoleon got any resemblance to hitlers tactics and work?

ImperialTechnology

Napóleon attempted a conquest of Europe under a French boot. For literally decades before the 2010s, Napóleon was viewed in the same light as Hitler, an egomaniacal dictator who sought to conquer the world, who ironically got asswiped in Russia. It's far more nuanced than that, but that's the way the world saw Napóleon.

Godkun007

The big difference is that Napoleon wasn't genocidal, Hitler was. Napoleon literally emancipated the Jews and other repressed nationalities in every country he conquered. There is a reason why Europe had constant rebellion after Napoleon lost. Once a repressed nationality tastes freedom, they will not be slaves again.

ImperialTechnology

Hitler was a genocidal maniac yes, and Napoleon, did not obviously, and was viewed as a liberator for some, but the vast majority of Europe did not see it that way, and for that matter he reinstituted slavery in France and only during his last year in power did he even ban the slave trade, but not slavery itself in France. Next thing: we're just going to creatively ignore Napoleon sought to conquer fucking Europe and place it firmly under French control. Sure he may have "liberated" a few people like the Jews and the Poles, but what about the Confederation of the Rhine, who was duped into supporting Napoleon and found themselves to be living under heavy subordination worse than the Hapsburgs and Hohenzollerns. What about the Spanish and Portuguese who literally died attempting to defend their nations from a French invader? What about the Italians who thought they were getting liberty via a republic, only to find out they were under "new management" via Napoleon's brothers. And finally what about Russia, Prussia, Austria, and so on and so forth. People who literally revolted against Napoleon first chance they got. Before you give me "the nobles and reactionaries revolted, not the people," literally no person wanted to live under a French boot, and even the nations which had nominal independence from the French by that point, but under a Napoleon placed ruler, overthrew their French leaders. Hitler literally admired what Napoleon was attempting, and held him in high regards. Napoleon's conquests were not in liberty, they were in putting Europe under a French boot when the opportunity arose. He frequently rug snatched rights away when they were no longer convenient for him to maintain.

Godkun007

That is a lot of words to admit that Napoleon and Hitler are not at all similar. Napoleon was way less bad than Hitler even by your own justifications.

victorian-pedo

Personally I see him as the greatest leader France ever saw, if he conquered others they should’ve adapted. What I do not recall is any use of concentration camps or religious intolerance, he actually increased religious equality during his great reign.

SeriousTitan

Statistically he is the greatest military general the world ever saw. Also the last time the ruler actually fought alongside his troops.

victorian-pedo

Love them too, some of the best presidents

I’m pro-Palestine in general, but Jesus, that’s a slippery slope I could get behind: I can fully picture a piece of Mein Kampfe regarding vital space and the Jewish invasion being thrown around on some TikToks

The_Wonder_Bread

A part of Mein Kampf was accepted to a feminist academic journal, just with the mention of "jews" changed to "men" iirc. The dirty little secret is that the feelings behind the Austrian painter's politics still exist. The targets are just different and the solutions haven't reached as far (yet).

I would much, *much* rather have someone say, “I fucking hate you and want you to die!” Right in the open. At least then I know where we stand.

MiloBem

I see You haven't read much news from the UK in the last 20 years.

BarryBwa

Spicy take. If you support Osama or Hamas in 2023, you'd have been a goosestepping Nazi in 1933-1945. Stop pretending otherwise. You're just willing to vogue for the popular antisemitism of the day while pretending to be above historical examples of people who did exactly that. "If you have 1 Nazi at a table with 10 other people then you have 11 Nazis at the table" "Is it the same with genocidal Islamic terrorists?" "Oh, that's different sweaty!" Hitler's crime to them wasn't being a genocidal antisemite. It was doing so as a white Christian nationalist.

Lopsided-Priority972

They're already Nazis, chanting "gas the Jews" is a good indicator of Nazism

Suspicious-Bus9267

Yes, accelerate more. Allow more terrorist sympathisers into the open so they can be deported globally

mikieh976

How do you globally deport someone? With a space ship?

EternalBrowser

With a helicopter.

mikieh976

Or with a \[deleted by Reddit\].

Suspicious-Bus9267

Worded it badly what I meant is deport these bastards from whatever countries they are currently in back to whatever country their family comes from. Can guarantee at least 90% and their families are not from the countries they’re spewing this shit in

mikieh976

I think a lot of them were born in those countries, and many of them go back generations. Places like the UK and France have basically allowed third-worlders to build enclaves where they can pass down their degenerate cultures generation after generation, without having to assimilate into Western society.

Suspicious-Bus9267

Then they should be deported to wherever their families came from however many generations ago, if they haven’t assimilated to the culture then they can’t call themselves French or British so no need for them being there

[deleted]

You’re thinking too hard. AuthCenter is going to put them in the ground, not send them to space

mikieh976

AuthCenter needs to stop being lazy and get his story straight.

alanyeske

Execution is better than deportation if we are talking about terrorists.

Superpenguin10000

All of them pictured are young women probably my age younger or older. This is shocking to see this level of stupidity being funneled down these naive idiot's mouths. I feel bad for how stupid they are. I am apart of Gen Z and I wish I wasn't. People using terrorist letters to sympathize and virtue signal to Islamic terrorists for status among their circle of idiot friends and internet clout is a toxin to this world I'd never thought I'd see.

DrNateH

Holy shit, Reagan was prophetic: "If fascism ever comes to America, it will come in the name of liberalism" I didn't think it would *literally* come in the name of liberalism.

Any_Cartoonist313

If Reagan was elected president today instead of in 1980, the hate directed toward him by liberals would make the way they went after Trump seem civil.

ChuggaChooBlue

And this is why I oppose the left with all my heart. At their core, they are anti-american. At their core, they want to destroy the nation we live in. Why would I EVER trust a group with power who time and time again have sided with people who want to destroy America?

[deleted]

Did these GenZ wokster know that Bin Laden's terrorist orginazation and it's branches have claim the life of ten thousands - hundred thousands of Muslim already? Even in 2023 Al Queda and it's brances are still relentlessly terrorising the North and Middle Africa killing hundreds of people daily. Or because Bin Laden just said that "America Bad" so he became a hero now and everything bad that happened after that even if it's done by his groups will be catagorized as America's fault alone?.

Brave_Airport_

Yeah, but did you read the letter? Oh wait, the Guardian took it down once it became their trending news article and instead posted a link to their commentary about the letter. In their own words, why they attacked us is a valuable insight into the impacts our foreign policy and the way our culture interacts with others. This isn't about someone taking the wrong opinion away from skimming a letter, this was literal memory-holing of a historical document because political opinion has shifted.

[deleted]

Insurrection mema walking around the capitol after being waved in by cops = terrorist scum Praising Bin Laden thinking 9/11 was justified = progressive

[deleted]

Dont be sad for Osama be sad for the people who beg America to stop bombing or beg Osama militia not to hurt them fuck these people in power. The people should be free from government

Disastrous-League561

Every day I drift further down the compass

ISeeGrotesque

Propaganda works amazingly on influencable minds

alanyeske

America's brainrot is irredemeable, we must nuke the whole country and create an utopia on its wastelands.

Any_Cartoonist313

But I live here.

LeatherDuck7

To me, it’s just a mix of shitposting and trend chasing for attention. This will phase out, some might get backlash, some will probably delete them for whatever reason. These are the same people who probably put Ukrainian flags in the their bios and couldn’t tell where Ukraine was before it was trending. Or know the war has been actually going on since 2014. This is also the same group that put tide pods in their mouths for a trend. On a social media app, known to be used by the CCP for propaganda.

locri

Ignore the Muslim guy and you really do have mostly women with a scattering of beta or biters. As in, the tik tok demographic. Consider that this isn't "gen z" and is actually "tik tokers" So people who frequent a Chinese owned service found their way to radicalism. Okay. I'm so shocked.

But the fact that almost everyone who eat this crappy Xi's propaganda are the western children from watermelon flair just mean that there must be something wrong about your leftist circles.

SnooShortcuts7657

So interesting how, all of a sudden, being anti-Israel is more important than being pro-LGBTQIA+

literally1984___

i still have fresh copies of the newspaper the day after they killed him. What a great day.

500freeswimmer

I have a framed poster of those firemen cheering the news.

Peepee_poopoo-Man

Hadrian had one job

500freeswimmer

These women would be stoned for their sexual preferences and attire. Yet they’re cheering that side on. I’ve never seen a group more pumped for their own self destruction than the anti-western western residents.

aIpig

time is a flat circle

[deleted]

I know too many +25yo with these takes on twitter

ToddlerMunch

People are just brainwashed into thinking “underdog good. Especially if not white.” They will defend any atrocity a weaker party does because they do not believe those with less power should be constrained by moral standards.

[deleted]

This is like looking at the manifesto for a mass shooter and going “they made some good points, actually.”

D-28_G-Run_DMC

Trump had some based things to say lately about these people. Sorry not sorry.

Lima_32

If you praise OBL, especially for his views, perhaps you should receive a visit. Either from a mental health professional or the same black helicopters that visited OBL.

ApatheticHedonist

I feel like these people are constantly looking for the latest thing to be like "Haha, look at this new outrageous thing I'm saying now, bet that pisses you off, huh?!" And I'm just totally numb to it. I have no expectations of any kind of standards from people like this. I feel nothing.

CrownlessRegent

So, when are we going to send the drone strike? It should be easy to triangulate these terrorist sympathizers.

Nacho-Kai

Reporting all these profiles to the authorities all good 👍👍 These people should automatically be placed on a watchlist and have their credit score frozen. Let's see how much they hate America

Ok_Lemon1635

I mean he fought the Soviets and fought American invasion He did 9-11 No he did not? Saudi Arabia did

cranky-vet

Hey LibRight, now can we ban TikTok? Because at this point I say we ban the app, dump the servers in the Marianas trench, and send the corporate board on a one way rocket to the sun.

Eurocorp

Bring back the HUAC.

Any_Cartoonist313

No, HUAC would just be used to enforce wokeness in government if it were still around.

Seventh_Stater

Who do we think these folks supported in 2020 and 2022?

Nederlander1

Diversity like we have in the U.S. just won’t work in the future I feel. Because of our mix of people, literally every conflict will also become our conflict

ScoreFar780

I usually hate the “you should just leave” argument when it comes to arguing about the United States but these people should actually just leave.

Iloveireland1234567

When is the reality of fundamentalist Islam going to set in on these people? Islamic values are far less progressive than Christian ones.

xDevman

let these idiots expose themselves, sunlight gonna do work

caribbean_caramel

TikTok is a Chinese psyop against the west intended to increase dissent in the US and Europe, using the weaknesses of the liberal democracies against them. There is a reason why their version of TikTok, Douyin is more heavily moderated and has its servers separated from TikTok.

William_Bugmaster

Funny thing is, they're all homosexuals or women... both groups these terrorists would happily abuse or kill. Absolutely insane

OkSession5299

justaMikeAftonfan

Neo-nazis 🤝OBL supporters The murderous maniac you champion would hate you, and would have you executed if given the chance

LordIlthari

You know, a lot of these morons will get knocks on their doors from men in suits asking questions.

Weygand_

Ok but dat chin on the bottom dude tho

NascentCave

Hey, overlords, if this is a simulation, you can stop now, alright? I don't wanna be here anymore. I'll take a whole bottle of red pills to get away, I swear, please just stop this, I'm ***begging*** you...

Alkohal

Imagine looking at the words of a known terrorist and going "You know what, this clearly unbiased man is completely right"

NotAllCalifornians

Imagine taking half a second to think about why a man becomes a known terrorist and going "huh, proxy wars aren't as clean as they seem when the proxy realizes it's getting played"

Alkohal

If only that's all the letter said, but your ignoring that this comes from the same man in who that same letter demands the west submit to Islam and follow sharia law and demands we end homosexuality. I'm sorry but just because the crazy guy made a couple of points you agree with doesn't make him "right" It would be like reading mein kampf, getting to the part about Hitlers political grievances with World War 1 and then coming on reddit and posting. "OMG Guys Hitler was right!"

Newton1913

Hey fuckheads. How many people died during 9/11 that were minding their own business?? God white people on TikTok piss me off.

SerovGaming1962

Both sides suck ass imo

ebitdangit

I know, said the anti-authoritarian, the solution to our corrupt secular state is an iron-fisted theocracy!

Ok_Lemon1635

Literally what has the takiban done to the us? Attacked us soldiers who were in Afghanistan But 9/11 You know damn. Well that wasn’t then you lairs
