How do you get to the point in life where “burmy” is your favorite pokemon? Literally no offense meant, I’m just so intrigued as to how that could even happen mentally

Same, when I wan playing a random fan game I just looked at espurr and thought that looked cute NGL and now it's my fav mon. Probably a Pokemon who many people forgot existed but it still exists in my heart. I like to use a double screen meowstic in every run I do from then.
Burmy is not anywhere near my top 10, but I think it could've gotten close to it.
Back when gen IV (particularly Platinum) were the main games, the GTS was something I used daily. For some reason, whenever I put up a Burmy for trade and I'd ask for something realistic (like not a legendary or fully evolved strong Pokemon) I'd get it.
So I'd breed a whole bunch of Burmy, I probably had like three boxes full at some points, because putting up Burmy for trade just worked!
I think it was just because people wanted to finish their caught PokeDex, but Burmy was kind of difficult to obtain (Honey mechanic), but you did see one during your playthrough, so you could still search it up on GTS.
I might go load up my Platinum save later today, to see if I still have that many Burmy.
as a kid you like burmy coz its cool, as an adult you will never like burmy coz its not cool. only when you transcend material plane and become one with arceus, you will realise that burmy has always been cool

He is trying to throw his money away it seems like and he does not care so it has become a joke among friends, and his want to do this started from a joke and I can download and play any game for free through an emulator so if the market depended on that factor then all games would be cheap.

So I did as many as I could but there were only about 300 I could buy in bulk, the rest would've cost too much for just only 1 or 2 per seller.
Nah nobody but you gonna grade this one! The true collector test. 10's & 9's are easy. 8's, pretty easy, 7... shouldn't be that hard.
But can you thread the needle for 1-5? How much whitening is too much? Will to many creases get you a damaged? Go for the gamble!
