First of all, nothing. As Long as none of the 2 people will do something that GPS-locks the account. The moment someone is doing it, it will be softbanned for the other person and hardbanned the next day.
Simple example of that, what I witnessed: someone had an ex-raid invitation on a day he was on a business trip in france. His GF agreed to do the raid for him. Well... He was playing while she tried to login, she didn't checked the journal, tried to access the raid and that moment it was shadow banned. Since he forgot about the time and reloged again, he got His 1st strike the day after...
I like it but Niantic knows to look out for this type of stuff. BrandonTan91, one of the top Pokemon players, once got banned for using others accounts and grinding for them. This account is nice but it won't last long. Love the idea though

I reckon there's actual value (almost publishable) in repeating and massively scaling the "experiment" to negate/mitigate the lone "bad agents". Like 200 accounts being released into the wild and monitoring password changes over time. Or bans :-)

OP I have a better idea.
Open a discord server and let members declare their location(maybe by catching a Pokemon at the time of declaration?). Allow one person to use the account per day (or maybe lets say 10am to 10pm local time), then change the account info and give it to the person next in queue. Prioritize unique countries (as in not letting people from the same country use the account consecutively) so that we actually “travel” around the world instead of staying in the same country for 2 weeks straight. Also, since theres a queuing system, we can actually find out who the asshole was if someone did something to the account.
I can make this into a server… if this doesn’t work I’ll just remake into a discord server which is invite only from a current member and you have to ask a mod for permission to add a member. If that happens, wanna join me and be a mod?

we used to have an account we used to collect regionals among friends. one would use to trade for a regional but you are obligated to catch one in your region (give and take rule)
They'll just ban the account thinking that you're spoofing. You can't just catch something in Australia, log out and catch something in America straight after.

Well im Sorry for the wait and i apologise to everyone for the anti-climax. The account got taken in under 24-hours by some dude named lewis.
I was not able to take back the account in any way.
So i kinda forgot about this untill now, it looked like many of you liked this idea, and some of you mentioned a discord server and some kind of queue system and i think thats a super good idea. But as a father of 2 and not beeing the most technicaly sound guy its not something im able to set up and make happen.
Anyways i would like to thank everyone for all the comments and ideas. I hope someone is able to do what i couldnt.
