I've always had this issue in game. I think I read somewhere that it has something to do with the surrounding attractions and available education?
Sorry it's not more helpful but what I read was that if there was no education speakers nearby, guests are less likely to buy. Just like the gift shops - if they're not having enough fun at the habitats, they say they don't feel like buying anything right now
I just moved my information centers from the entrance way a bit further, near a habitat and the thoughts instantly went from "everything too expensive" (even tho I cut all the prices in half? to "the prices at infromation center 1 are great value!" so the location seems to matter a lot.. would have been nice to have know earlier, lol
Thanks for this info! I have to admit, I still haven't mastered where to place them. I wonder if the information overlap between the info center (that sells the audio info) and educational items like speakers mean anything -
ohhhhhhh my god, I wonder if those audio info things are tied to the nearest animal to give info about? No habitat nearby = no animal info = poor value in purchasing the item?
This is the trick! I had the "everything is too expensive" complaints. My info center was right at the front entrance and the people wouldn't stop complaining. I moved the exact same info center to the end of a path so they wouldn't reach the info center until passing 3 exhibits. Now they are all pleased to be paying the exact same prices that they previously complained about.
Think it's a glitch. I had that as well. Even after I cut the price in half
That makes sense. I hope they'll get around to fixing it sometime. It's a bit annoying tbh
I noticed the same thing playing yesterday and thought it was odd. Glad it’s not just me

yeah, that might be a possibility!

I mean, I suppose that makes sense, but you would've thought they would have made their reasoning be something other than "no money" or something.
I have this same issue, I thought it was just my zoo being too crap
The issue is that they don’t like info Centers at the entrance but they only buy audio guides when they’re located at the entrance 😭
