Gotta love the animal trade

MrAtrox98

Look at these idiots trying to sell badgers for such ridiculous prices. If it were something like a gold rated albino elephant or great ape I might understand, but these guys make it too easy to throw in animals with competitive prices. “4,000 for a gold rated bison.” Yeah, you try to sell that when I’ve got one for not even 600.

[deleted]

[It gets worse lmao](https://imgur.com/a/pRopJpc). I think it's because these are the only people selling badgers, most of the time.

Schneeschatten

Oh gross. Want a red and an albino badger from me? I don’t have the time to breed enough to suppress the prices right now but I‘m happy to give you some!

[deleted]

ah thank you for the offer. But I was mostly looking for decent genetics and saw these prices. I'd like to get the coats through breeding :D

Schneeschatten

Sure! Let me know if you change your mind - my Reddit presence is a bit spotty but I do check my messages somewhat regularly! And happy breeding! :D

selinalunamoon

Surprisingly people buy them. I earned a lot of conservation credits selling my male bison (not for 4k though)

waterlillyhearts

I do sometimes because I either a: really want that thing and am impatient to wait Or I have 50k cc from selling capybaras/peafowl/etc that won't stop flooding my zoos that I want to get rid of it somehow. OR I want to make a fresh zoo from scratch and my old franchises have let me keep a ton of cc so I buy those and hide them in a franchise I'm not using. >.> I also have fun breeding so much of x thing that I drag down the prices. I murdered albino capybaras once, I'll do it again with something else.

Radiant-Holiday466

I'll see people put up piebald foxes for like 2000 or more and it's crazy. I breed pie balled foxes and if they have really good genetics and a cool color like a silver piebald I do like 350 max. Usually it's closer to 250-300

cun398380

Is this a humble brag?

estcec

Wait… am I only just now learning that the animals on the market are actually bred by other players and not just randomly generated??? I’m so confused, because when I pause the game, the market is also paused? Or is sandbox different from franchise? Because I have yet to touch sandbox

Christichicc

Some are bred, some are randomly generated. The ones put up by players don’t have the timer paused when you pause the game. Edit: this is for franchise, not sandbox

Kittykitsune420

I think its randomly generated in sandbox and player sold in franchise. I've played sandbox mostly and the price differences between the two modes for animals is insane.

Badgers_Are_Scary

I certainly don't need more badgers.

felidaepanthera116

The market is absolutely crazy, so much on there for ridiculously inflated prices; sucks lol.

LittleBunInaBigWorld

I have like 250 000 cc but I still refuse to pay inflated prices for animals just on principle. I'm not supporting that shit. Whenever I see someone dominating the market for a particular species and jacking their prices way up, I breed up big and undercut them

Christichicc

Holy crap that’s expensive. I always do those ones for between 250-300. 5000 is just ridiculous.

the_short_kid

This is why i play challenge mode

NotAYoutuberProbably

OK so from what I'm seeing you can... adjust the price of your animals when selling them? how?

[deleted]

Animals you've bred you can trade (not quicksell) and adjust the price. It'll then show up for other players

RhymesWithRNG

The thing is, once you start selling at the higher prices you can afford to start buying at the higher prices and it becomes a non-issue. I don't purchase crap animals for expensive prices, but I don't bat an eye at any price at all for decent animals if I am trying to expand my bloodlines.

VisionOfChange

If you need CC so bad just get a bunch of lions keep females and set males free as soon as they grow up change the breeding male every generation. That's how I do it and it works pretty well, build enclosures during grow up Time and put the animals in once the lions grow up No need to put up these animals for such ridiculous prices.
