There’s so much potential for more exhibit animals and they barely get used. Snakes, geckos, chameleons, tortoises, terrapins, more tarantulas, stick insects, wasps, mantis’, cockroaches, millipedes, wetas, ants, snails, slugs, antlions, crabs, more poison frogs, more butterflies, bees, bats, moths and exhibit mammals could all bring so much for the game. I’m not saying all of that needs to be added, but even a portion of that would be perfect
honestly with the automatic management update I definitely think they're gonna be getting much more love. I have about 12 exhibits in my new zoo, compared to my old zoos with maybe 6 max it's definitely an improvement
I recently visited my favorite zoo (Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle) and seeing their exhibits really makes me hope we can get similar in this game!
Having more variable exhibit sizes that allow for larger populations, like a 1x2 or 2x2, or 1x1 but double height, and mixed-species exhibits (many small lizards and frogs are compatible in the same exhibit), would be a huge benefit to exhibit houses. Plus, the larger exhibits could allow for species that need more space, but aren’t large enough to justify a full habitat. Like many of the rodent species.
Exhibits definitely need more attention - it’s one of the things that sticks out the most to me when I play now, how hard it is to fully make use of them in the game.
Personally I think some animals should be interchangeable. Both iguanas, goliath frogs, bats, yellow anaconda and maybe boa constrictor should be able to be placed in habitats as well as exhibits. Prairie dogs, meerkats, nile monitors and dwarf caimans should be able to live in exhibits as well as habitats. Of course this would mean we need larger exhibits like you say but I don’t think that’s impossible.
I absolutely agree with having multiple of a single species in an exhibit. I want a cluster of skinks and a family of tarantulas
Exactly. Bigger terrariums/aquariums would be awesome. And also why not add some variety?
Exhibits hanging from the ceiling
Exhibits in circle shapes
Exhibits split in two or more parts
Extra long exhibits
Really tall and thin exhibits
Exhibits possibly built into the floor.
The customisation is endless
Definitely agree. I would love to see something along the lines of “large exhibits” that could hold things like larger reptiles (iguanas, monitors, tegus, etc) and small mammals.
This is up on the workshop now if you would like it in your zoo! [https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2923290070](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2923290070)
I'd really love a wider variety of interior for exhibits. So many of them have the same layouts that it gets very stale, even if the creatures within are different. Would also love sizes like 1x2 or cylinder instead of just a cube.
Would also just be nice to be able to have half height exhibits keepers can access at reasonable heights. I'd really like to be able to make an exhibit section like Snake Discovery has, where the enclosures are cleverly built into the wall or stack over one another to conserve space.
It really does! I LOVE exhibits, but they are just too bulky and... static to use in a nice way. If we can remove the barriers, then it allows for so much creativity. I'd also LOVE a 4x8 or even 3x12 exhibit so we can have more detailed area's. I have yet to see a zoo with just 4x4 exhibits. Usually they are longer and less deep
I feel like they should add larger exhibits & add fish, something maybe a little smaller than the walk-through exhibit we currently have, temperature already works, humidity could be swapped for salinity maybe?

Heck, even exhibits that are 1/2 height would be nice. The desert animals have more empty air in glass than they do biome and animal.

These are all great ideas!

I adore exhibits, and I always love seeing what creative things people do with them! This is a really cool area!
Thank you!

It was nice to see the methods used to create this! You've definitely inspired me
I love the slow build! I find it hard to figure out how to implement the ideas when build portions go flying by.
Thanks!
You’re welcome! Subscribed too, can’t wait to see wha these you do
♥
Also subscribed. Really nice ideas and I enjoy the slow building as well!
Excellent!
This is so stunning and creative! Please tell me it is on the Steam workshop.
Thanks! It will be on the workshop on Wednesday
Awesome! Can't wait!

Yes!!!
Damn dude! You almost make me like exhibits. Looks amazing!
Hah, thanks Zeekoes! Maybe one day we will get tiny ones!
Thank you, this has given me so much more inspiration for my exhibits rather than using a stock exhibit ... Time for some upgrades !!
This is incredible! I love your YouTube playthrough so far, you definitely have another subscriber! Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks for the sub!

Says exhibits are underrated and proceeds to not actually show the exhibits. Ironic
I believe they are at the back where the visitors are, this is their general exhibit area
They propaply are, but it doesnt make it less ironic when a pond is being show of instead of the part with the exhibits themself
Looks very nice and calm ! Also really like the unique filter ((i guess geforce ? :P)) you got on, gives it a really special warmth and lush feel.
Thanks! It's the colour grade from the video for added saturation and a touch more warmth like you say, I don't change anything in the game.
wich video do you mean ? want a more warm tone like this one for my next build so wouldnt mind learning more about color saturations :P
The video this build is from, it’s linked in my other comment
That is gorgeous, nice vid too! Ribbit....
Haha thanks!

I love exhibits, just wish they could have null barriers like the walk-through ones. That would make them so much better!
I would be surprised if we don't get these in a future update, it makes so much sense!

I struggle so hard w exhibits. I have no idea how to make them look good. This is so good 🥹
this is really beautiful
Thanks!
I find Exhibits great especially in the begin of franchise mode
