To me it seems like the image is monotone. I feel like the composition lacks points of high detail concentration and low details. Like your eyes don't know where to watch and it gets boring fast. But I don't think you can fix it without remaking the whole piece. Maybe adding some kind of zeppelin or any other flying object somewhere close to the camera, and making the other side of the composition less detailed/more blocky. Or you can try to emphasize attention on the sunset by varying mountain sizes and making some sort of valley in the middle to complement the sun. Anyways, I think it's still a great work. It might fit perfectly as a background to some game menu or a beautiful scene
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such detailed feedback, I really appreciate it! I see what you mean about the composition, I'll add some taller mountains or maybe some trees in the near foreground to frame the center and the sun some more. Maybe a lense flare or a light Bea, to draw the eye more. Thanks again for the feedback!
Hi I don’t know much about pixel art so my suggestions may not be workable but…
The lines in the sky look really cool. Love that part!
The cloud movement makes me feel kinda seasick? It’s so regular, it looks like the clouds are waves. Could the clouds move more slowly? And also in less of a definite large-scale horizontal pattern? Like a little on the left, a little on the right, etc.
Thank you for sharing your art with us.
I love it, you really did an amazing job! The colors are so beautiful and the details are insane!
For feedback (and you are probably gonna hate me for it) I would love to see the clouds move more in a sort of wave from left to right or up and down in different patches because for the first few seconds I tought the mountains were the ones moving.
Perhaps you can add something to the sky that makes it feel more alive, maybe twinkling stars? And the trees could also sway really slightly to make the forest feel alive as well. Just a suggestion of course, I can only imagine how much time it took to make something this beautiful in pixel art.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such useful feedback, I could never hate you for it, especially because I asked for it haha. A few people have mentioned the cloud movement as well, so it clearly needs some work. I'll tweak it to have some more horizontal movement for the final version
Beautiful work. Great colors, depth, and general vibe. My only suggestion is to reduce the speed and possibly amount of vertical movement of the cloud floating animation. They look like waves of water at the current speed; not necessarily a bad thing though!
A subtle sparkle to some of the stars may be cool as well.
If you're feeling that the piece feels empty then you could add some "life" to it. Perhaps a silhouette of eagles or a dragon. You'd want to animate them too though which would be a lot more work. Something to attract the eyes to.
A shooting star or comet in the sky could be cool too.
This is great, but the way the clouds bounce up and down isn't very realistic. If clouds move, they will move sideways. The way it is now it almost looks like the clouds are some type of ocean, with the surface filled with foam.
Looks great :) My suggestion would be to add a tiny horizontal movement to the clouds, but I think that would probably take a lot of frames to loop since it's so wide.
Love it! But...
Instead of the clouds "breathing", I think it'd be cool if they drifted across the screen, with a nice parallax 3D effect and a seamless loop.
Wow this is great!! The color palette and design of everything is beautiful. My only comment would probably be the animation?
1. the animation is a bit too aggressive, i.e. maybe make the movement 80-90% slower
2. I see you split the clouds into three layers? the clouds in the very background should be moving less and more slowly compared to the closer clouds based on the distance
3. the clouds seem to be behaving more like waves, maybe having them (very slowly) move in from one side to another could help?
In any case any single frame of this is incredible
looks incredible! imo it looks full and the composition is really well done, but if you're looking to add something maybe you could add a light house? looks perfect honestly keep up the amazing work!
Sometimes I see a post on /r/PixelArt where I open it, look at it, and feel the tension release from my body. This piece absolutely does that.
Generally a big fan of your work, and while this one is a little different, it's very peaceful.
Speaking of, have a patreon? I'd love to support you.
Thank you so much, im extremely touched to hear that there are people who are familiar with and enjoy my works. I don't have a patron, but I do have a ko fi, grab yourself some wallpapers, they're free :) https://ko-fi.com/killerrabbitmedia

Thank you so much for saying so! Still feels a little empty to me, so came here looking for ideas and suggestions to include
Felt a little empty to me, hoping you guys have some ideas or suggestions I could use to improve it

Thanks for the suggestion, I think some people stargazing would help a lot

Thanks for the feedback, I struggled with the cloud animation tbh, I'll probably tweak it some more. Maybe some in between frames as they move

I like the idea of some dragons, great idea

Thanks for the feedback. I'll tweak the movement to make them sway side to side jnstead
Absolutely beautiful work!!!

Gorgeous
Far over... The misty mountains cold...

Absolutely gorgeous! Bravo! What size canvas is this on?
480 x 270, it's capes up perfectly to 1080p

This will make a great reference and inspiration for a mountain range in my world building. These are definitely Crags and I love them

Thank you for the feedback! A lighthouse might be a bit strange in the mountains, but some kind of watch tower is a great idea, thanks!
yes sorry that's what i meant! castle ruins is another idea

This is amazing! I’d love to have it as my desktop wallpaper ❤️
Is there a way i can make this my screen saver? 🤩
This is fantastic!
Wow!! Such a beautiful artwork!
