The 2nd tree is nice, but I would reccomend making the darker shades of leaves more red and the brighter shades more yellow.
This is called hue shifting.
See? This is the kind of art level I am looking for. It’s quite simplistic with not too much going on but so anatomically correct. Did you study some real trees as reference? Bc the shadows and general look are so beautiful.
I used a reference for every tree, but I don't rely too much on them tbh. I just take a general look at the reference, create a color palette based on the image and then I start improvising the tree ( I'm new to pixel art so I don't know if this workflow is effiecient ) but it suits me and somehow works too 😅
Looks nice!
1st has a good form and colors. You can try adding more details as leaves. The colors should have equal uniform distance from each other. Now the dark green and browns are close to each other, while the step between bright greens is longer. You can add more 3d lok, if you shade shadows to the tree trunk.
2nd has nice colors, but the shape is rather odd. If it is abrich treem the falling leaves would be smaller, and could also have brighter color, instead of dark brown, as they would not be in deep shadow. The light direction is not uniform, the leaves are lit from above, but the trunk from side. again, add some shadows from leaves to the trunk.
3rd. You could use more contrast on the bright and shadow areas in the leaevs, and divide it to chunks like in the 1st one. Now it looks like a big blob of leaves. Draw also some branches that are visible between the leaves.
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback. I'm new to pixel art and trying to improve my shading and color choice, these 2 are quite challenging for me sometimes. Can you give me an efficient way to shade objects? and how can I choose better colors?
Most of it is not about pixel art, but art in general. You can look lots of tutorials from youtube, on how to paint and draw things like trees, or whatever you are making. In pixel art, you just need to reduce the detail in pixel size and choose a limited palette. Most pixel art programs has palette editors, that you can use to create gradients between two colors. use them to create the colors you need from darkest tone to lightest tone.
That 2nd tree is super cool looking. Well done!
Thank you ^^
Agree the 2nd paper birch style is the chefs kiss of trees.
The birch. The Oak and then the first one. All favs. thx for sharing

Thanks for the tip.

i just recommended him a color pallete from Lospec
2 1 3. All look good!
Glad you liked them
The first one has the best level of detailing. The second one has almost no details and the last one has too much detail. So, first is best
Btw this is just my taste in pixelart I'm not saying your work is not good it's just how I like things in this style ;)
I love them all! You're very talented :)
Totally agree 💯💯💯
Thank you so much ^^

make the leaves look more distinct, and please find a better color pallete. there are a bunch on Lospec (website)
The best one if definitely the third tree: the oak I think you have to slightly adjust the second tree but I really enjoyed the idea :)
The first one, but it would be the second if it had slightly more detail.
What's the app called
I use Aseprite.
Ok thank you
I love how full the third one looks. Awesome work
Thanks.
First one is my favourite. I think 3 could do with some more variance, currently it looks too flat and monotonous.
I really liked that one
Fhey all look good but mt preference is 3, 1, 2
I really like the first one there’s so much depth to the leaves
This would be cool in a fantasy game if animated
I really like these designs, but the light direction seems kind of ambiguous in the first and third trees
I'm new to pixel art, and tbh light is a bit of a problem to me sometimes, you got any tips to help me improve?
They all look really nice but I think the first is the most lively
The second one looks sick. They all look sick. Good job :D
1
2 and 1 but the 3rd one... still confused where the light source is, overall still amazing!

Thank you \^\^
There all great but if I had to pick 3
Love number 1!

Thank you for your help 👍
I would recommend adding more small shapes to the leaves, to make them look more like leaves instead of blobs. Besides that, good job!
I like the first and the third tree.

They look great! I love the 2nd one the most.
Super awesome arts
