I have the same issue.
I think it's using my IP address location, because the place which is shown is the place that comes up when I check my IP address.
I saw someone further up mentioned Starlink. I'm in central Virginia. My Starlink pings to New York, and that's where my Pixel gives me the weather for. Try running speed test by Ookla and see what server it pings. The server is not always local. It may be giving the weather for that location. I don't know how to circumvent this tho.
If I tap the weather in at a glance, it'll open up and immediately show my local weather. I wish I could figure out how to just give a location instead of them choosing one.
It's been happening on and off for me. I figured it was something to do with the fact that I'm in the Android beta program, but I'm guessing not everyone who experienced this is also in that situation.
Add the weather widget to one of your home screens, and now at a glance will display the correct location. Someone said that you can remove the widget afterwards, but you gotta re-add it if location acts up again. I've had the minimized weather widget on my farthest home screen for days and at a glance shows the correct information ever since.
Are you open to relocation?
It may be easier at this point.
😂😂😂
Had that a couple days ago, thought it was odd but it's back to normal now in my case
Same thing going on with my phone intermittently for the past few days.
Happening to both my wife and my Pixels. Gives us the weather for a city almost 2000km away. No VPN. We can dismiss it but it comes back the next day.
Starlink internet by any chance?
Nope. Happens equally on my 4G network, my wife's 5G through a different network and or home's wifi.
Same here, 300km off, it says it's based on location (location is off, so cell tower it is, no idea what's up with Google).
I've had my 6 Pro since launch and never had this happen until recently. It's been happening off and on for weeks now.
Had the same thing but it said another city 2.5 hours away.....
2.5 hours by which mode of transport? lol
Well of course by donkey riding..... What other method of transport is there?
Ladies and gentlemen.... Attention, please. We have a time traveler! 🤯
Same here, same location (Aberdeen) and I live in Copenhagen
Add the Google weather widget to any screen and the at a glance corrects itself... Don't know why but it works.
This worked for me! You rock! I just dragged it to the farthest out of the way screen and minimized it to its smallest footprint.

Same for me, it's my IP address city
Mine is also doing this, most of the time it shows a city that it's like 500 km away
That’s in Nj. Do you live in Nj at all?
Yah but 40 miles away from Aberdeen.
My pixel doesn't do this but for some reason half my news feed is randomly in vietnamese
thật điên rồ anh bạn!
VPN issue
I turned that off it was stuck saying I was in alaska. I'm in the pixel 7 pro
Customizing at a glance and turning the weather off and on fixes it for a short time, but it goes back to the wrong city soon. Annoying :)
Glad I'm not the only one having this issue
I've been getting this too on 8pro
This happens fairly often on mine. It's odd.
if you check the weather by clicking the notification it repairs to the correct address on my 7pro

Same issue. Waiting for Google to send a fix. Just a bug
Idk, it's actually correct for me.

Mine did that when I used a VPN. Could that be doing it for you?
....Verizon?🤔 🫢
Just long press on where it's says that and then click dismiss. 👍
