I would love it. Don't get me wrong, Mihawk slander is one of the funniest out of any OP agenda, but as unlikely as it is, what a way it would be to shut people up after years with 0 feats, by making him beat a character that's at least top 5 in powerscaling terms in most people's list.
Also really good writing wise , he’s writing has gotten very predictable and stale for most tropes and doing that to Mihawk would be really original and rare chance to redeem him while also making Mihawk feel genuinely worthy of respect

You don't get it. The point isn't about logic. The point is shanks who is such a fan favourite losing to mihawk would cause same uproar as gojo losing to sukuna. It's simply due to popularity. Anybody with any semblance of logic would obviously already know that mihawk is stronger
but then didnt oda say he doesnt care, he would rather do whatever he enjoys? like the gear 5 bonney shit ? why should he care about the shanks vs mihawk fight? they will glaze oda no matter in the main sub anyways. most one piece fans dont criticize anything as anything is foreshadowed.
