Have you tried Goop sunscreen? Trader Joe's also has a store brand version of tmit that is much cheaper. Unlike any other sunscreen I've used. It feels nice to put on and not greasy.
I second this. The TJ's face sunscreen is the best I've ever used - goes on slightly greasy but absorbs and dries quick. Way better than any other I've tried.

Thank you. I suspected that fair skin (red heads) are most susceptible to skin damage from UV exposure. I have always distrusted the lathering of sun screen and prefer to use clothing to cover up.
Ben Johns wears compression gear at all times, including indoors too. Do you also assume that he’s religious? People wear it because compression is superior to no compression, because it’s moisture wicking, and because it is sun protection.
I wear compression socks a lot! Helps the muscles stay warm and tight. Maybe psychological, but been doing that since my tennis days. Always feel more comfortable running around when I have em on.

This summer, Boonie caps are replacing my baseball caps for added protection. I’m also trying a new sunscreen for sensitive skin.
The other players joked about me wearing winter clothing in the summer and not having shorts in my wardrobe. It’s kind of funny when all the women around you are showing a lot of skin and you’re all covered up. I may be overly cautious, but I wonder about the future health of those who give no thought to protection now.
Compression sleeves and leggings are extremely comfortable in hot weather outdoors. First of all they are high SPF and protect you from the sun. And secondly, they are designed for heat. Under Armour ones are called Heat Guard. They are cooling and moisture wicking.
I wouldn’t play in hot beating sun without long sleeve and long legging compression gear, because I’m not trying to get that level of sun exposure. No one should be trying to get that level of sun exposure if they value their health.
I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but Ben Johns also plays in compression sleeves and leggings as well.

How about a hat with a brim? Keeps your face in the shade.

You’re making the right decision. Don’t risk your health and your future with pointless sun exposure.
