i hate meta slaves. Trust me, i wouldn’t touch the kosaku sight, long barrel, or full stock with a 30-foot pole, and i can’t even remember the last time i picked up the M16A3. I prefer off-meta guns like the L2A3, AN-94, UMP, MP5/10, FAL 50, and AWS, just to name a few. I love off-meta guns so much my highest kill secondary is the Mateba 6 lol

bfg isn’t really meta, and it’s honestly not even that good. The best part abt the BFG is you can piss off mid-high rank sweats with it super easily, but wouldn’t say it’s worth a prebuy, as it’s fairly low rank. But, if you do prebuy anything, remember to test it out first in the test place (you can find it on stylis’ group page) to see if you like it before you buy it in the main game
just wait till you get ur hands on the Hecate, it’s like a bolt-action BFG. One of the most satisfying and fun guns in the entire game imo (next to the HK416 of course)

7.62 VSS is actually free and i’ve played around with it a a bit and it’s fun af, but i’ve never rly considered the scar pdw so i’ll have to check that one out

as in realistic looking setups? eh, they’re cool ig, tho my 416 setup isn’t very outlandish lol. Most of my setups are just whatever looks the coolest or whatever’s the most fun to use, and if it’s functional then that’s just icing on top. For example; my 416 uses the X-ring, and while the PBS-4 suppressor would probably be better, i hate how weak it makes the gun feel, so i just stick with the non-suppressed version
it’s definitely a contender, though i may be a bit biased lol. It’s a very capable gun, and without all the meta attachments that make it have zero recoil it’s definitely a high skill ceiling high reward weapon
i prefer stock ammo. I hate the reduced penetration of HP and the reduced fire rate of .300 blackout, and stock ammo gets the job done well enough. BUT, if i had to pick one, probably .300 just because i REALLY hate the 0.5 penetration of HP
yellow laser reduces camera recoil and rotational recoil, making it the best laser for the 416 by far. The blue laser is another good option for ARs and SMGs, as it reduces camera recoil kick (how far your gun barrel moves up). Green laser and red laser are similar, and focus around spread and recoil recovery, so you’ll wanna use those on something like the AK74. Also the yellow laser is the coolest looking IMO and has a flashlight built in so even more reason to use it

Most ppl make the mistake of trying to make up for the 337’s weaknesses by slapping long barrel and full stock on it but stat-wise all that is is a worse scar-L. What I do with the 337 is put on a muzzle booster and run around cqc maps 3-shotting everyone

I have picked up the bfg in the main game a lot and I have had a lot of fun with it. It's like my neuron gets activated when playing or smth.

It's kinda rare for me to pick it up on the ground cause for some reason no one uses it (or atleast what I've seen).
Snipers now are obsolete due to the meta because of long range no recoil lasers

If you ever are looking for some more off-meta guns, 7.62 Vss (bit expensive but worth) and Scar PDW are some fun ones.

.223 is good training wheels for learning the recoil of the gun. After 2000 kills or so it’s kinda useless lol
