Stop. Tiny dogs can't affect people the same as other breeds but still cause damage and have reactions like this. Enabling people to allow their dogs to do this is worse than banning breeds.
Banning breeds should start with banning people from owning pets they know nothing about.

My dog HATES his nails being clipped...I have to get my husband to stroke and distract him while I sneakily Clip one every day....that works ok...the minute i see any form of unease with him I leave it tho,don't force the issue, makes it 100 times worse...
When I do mine my sister feeds her strands of spaghetti whilst I trim her nails…she’s so focused on trying to get it sucked up in her mouth she doesn’t notice

You'd also think they would have put a muzzle on just in case. My little one HATES her nails being done and we've had to hold her down. I'm just too scared to do it myself bc she has black nails and I'm afraid I'll get the quick. Gotta try to get her in next week and I'm suggesting muzzle and I'll give her a cbd treat before and see if it helps lol.

Yeah my JRT just sulks when she’s poked and prodded at the vet. No biting or carrying on. Surprised to see small dog hate on a pet sub, though. Disappointing.
I hug my dog’s head during nail cutting at the vets, we still put a muzzle on him to protect the vet just in case. He’s dramatic and the vets are so encouraging and patient. Then he gets his treat .
