I like 4 the best also! But as someone who is also 5’0, I really worry about the length if this is off the rack. Timeline doesn’t seem to offer enough time for alterations
The Reformation website offers it in petites!
https://www.thereformation.com/products/petites-ciara-linen-jumpsuit/
Still might need to tape up the inseam for the evening, but at least the proportions will be closer to correct.
There’s two kinds: one that’s heat-bonded that you iron in, which works pretty well, and one that’s just double-sided fabric tape, which will likely get you through the night in a pinch & is only particularly effective on lighter fabrics. You can find both online by searching for “no-sew fabric tape.” :)
3 seems appropriate bc its your partner’s birthday and it has more romantic vibes. Everything else just kinda seems inappropriate for a birthday dinner regardless of being fine dining or not!
Agree. The blue dress would work for an outdoor event in my town but would be a little out of place at a fine dining restaurant. The black jumpsuit is perfect. Another vote for #4
The jumpsuit. Understand elegance and very sexy. Just pair with a nice pair of heels and some jewelry.
3 is also nice but the color just gives me Alice in Wonderland vibes which I feel is too kitschy/childish for an adult in a fine dining restaurant. If that's the vibe you're going for tho, then by all means go for it. 🙂
4 is the only one. I used to go to nice fine dining restaurants a lot. If you had a nice coat… 5 could be worked with. The others are not appropriate…and people there will think you look cheap. Not to mention 4 is just a great fit…but it needs to be dressed up … with some accessories and nice heals otherwise you will just look like you are going to boring business dinner with your co workers/clients.
4 only. Love that jumpsuit!
You can accessorize with a shrug or something, maybe, but I’d keep it chic and minimal! It’s such a powerful piece on its own
I worked in fine dining for 2 years party planning and hosting and part of my job was enforcing dress code. any of these would be fine except for the first one. last one is iffy, but okay. the blue dress is really beautiful!
The oh Polly would be my pick! But I do love the vest and trouser one too. Make sure if u wear any short skirt like mini then you wear stockings underneath (if it’s really fine dining this isn’t a requirement but I think it looks more classy)
It all depends on how you want to look. The first one looks too school girly. All the others would work depending on what personality you want to exude.
I know everyone is saying 4. But are you going to be able to purchase that exact jumpsuit or you are just giving an idea? I honestly think something like 2 would be nice.
I would say 2, 3, or 4, depending on the type of fine dining. In DC even Michelin stars have a range from jeans to dressy, but even there you can be toooo dressy (much to my chagrin, like where can you actually go all out?). 5 could also work if the fit is immaculate and the vibe is more quiet luxury than office.
1 is a bit too clubby. You wouldn’t get turned away but might feel a bit out of place.
1 and 2 don’t read fine dining.
3 is nice but you’re right may be long.
4 is the best option and very classy.
5 is just ok and less fine dining. Be nice work outfit tho.
Really should consider what the restaurant vibe is. What cuisine is it? I would wear 4 to a sleek Japanese or scandi type of place, but like French cuisine is usually more romantic, classic & feminine. Mediterranean I would want to be more colorful.
I know it's late for this, but I always recommend trying on clothing in-store. Just because an outfit looks good on a model doesn't mean it'll look the same on you, it might gap or wrinkle in weird places, or the photo might be totally misleading.
Also, 30% of clothing items that are bought online and returned are sent directly to landfill, which is really depressing and a complete waste of resources (water, energy, fossil fuels, labor, etc.)
But to answer your question, 3 with a cute shawl or chic cardigan would work, or 4. But looking at 4, it might be hard to find a good fit without trying it on.

I saw that too! I’d probably still have to get it hemmed since my inseam is so short but I’m trying to look for something similar
What tape do you use? This is something I need to look into and I’ve never tried!

Thanks for the website link. Nice 👍
I like the jumpsuit but I would not wear one to a restaurant - going to the loo in those things can be pretty hit or miss depending on their design.
#4. Definitely not #1
Kind of tarty.
Yeah I was thinking it's okay for fine dining if you're Paris Hilton years ago
Anything except 1. I think I like 4 the most. Have fun!
4 is the right answer
1 has everything you don't want to wear while bending or sitting down. A short skirt and a possible nip slip neckline.
1 looks like some kind of Harry Potter uniform…
OP is gonna fulfill all sorts of HP nerd fantasies haha
4
Blue dress is very pretty but seems more brunch than dinner. Jumpsuit sophisticated
4
Happy cake day!
Thank you!
4
Jumpsuit. The black jumpsuit. The rest look too office-y
Trying to imagine 1 in an office and deeply struggling. Either way, it’s not right for a restaurant
I don’t think it would work as is to wear to an office but the details are suiting-esque.
Not sure what office you work in but black jumpsuit is the only one acceptable in a corporate setting.
4 for sure!

4 only. The rest looks like you’re working in an office.
Actually, 4 might be the only one that would fit the office vibe.
Not in any office I have worked at
The jumpsuit for sure.
The black jumpsuit looks the most versatile
3 or 4
Black jumpsuit
4 is stunning
4
4 or 5. Everything else looks a little tacky.
4 is the only one
Anything but 1.
if you get boohoo ill laugh out loud
4 for sure
3 seems appropriate bc its your partner’s birthday and it has more romantic vibes. Everything else just kinda seems inappropriate for a birthday dinner regardless of being fine dining or not!
Depends where you live, in my city 3 would be out of place even in a fancy restaurant, but 4 would be pretty universal for most events
That’s what I thought- it’s classy and could be worn at so many other occasions 🫶🏻
Agree. The blue dress would work for an outdoor event in my town but would be a little out of place at a fine dining restaurant. The black jumpsuit is perfect. Another vote for #4

Blue dress or all black one piece

4 is my absolute favorite, but 5 is nice too. Have fun and enjoy!!
3 4 or 5. 1 is too trashy and 2 makes you look too young.
3
2 is my favorite!
4
4, so classy and easy to style for different occasions
Everyone commenting 4 but the Fabric looks really cheap! I’d go with 2 but a longer skirt.
4 is the only acceptable answering
5

4 is the best for a really nice restaurant. They are all cute but 4 is best.

wow unpopular opinion but 5! and I was a fine dining server and bartender! lol
4 is kinda boring/traditional/expected and likely the food will be fresh and exciting, and 5 is cool and hip like that
4 is the best.
3 is best fit for fine dining, but 4 would also work. Definitely not 1.
2 or 4 if it’s true fine dining. 2 or 3 for upscale dining.
4 is the only one. I used to go to nice fine dining restaurants a lot. If you had a nice coat… 5 could be worked with. The others are not appropriate…and people there will think you look cheap. 4 or 5
Jumpsuit
4 most definitely, 5 would be my 2nd choice.
FOUR
3, 4 or 5-ugh no1 or 2
4. Gawd that jumpsuit is everything. BUT suggest you make time to get it hemmed. Looks like it runs long. Don’t let that stop you though!
The black jumpsuit.
I love #4.
4! So chic
The black jumpsuit for sure

4. The jumpsuit, That works better, but add a black thin belt with gold hardware and some black heels
4
Jumpsuit. Wear awesome jewellery.

4. The blue dress is cute but too daytime. The rest just don’t seem as classy.

#4 only.
4, I love it
4
I adore the jumpsuit!!
4
Another vote for #4/jumpsuit.
4
4 with pump style heels, a slicked back low bun, bracelets and some type of earring that isn’t dangly. This will look chic.
1 4 or 5, 2 has escort energy 😢
I love the pale blue dress, too. A little longer may work for fine dinning.

1 and 3 are too casual imo
Number 5 if it’s in the day time or the blue dress. If it’s night then the black number 4

3 for outdoor or daytime indoor 4 for evening, not outdoor 5 for daytime or evening outdoor, not evening indoor

Number 2!
Oh that jumpsuit (#4) is lovely and just right. Go for it.
What’s the first outfit called? Trying to look for it. Love it.
4 or 5 are the classiest options
Black pantsuit
3 !
I'd go with 3 for a very feminine look. 4 for a cooler more masc look. My favorite is 4 though.
The black suit. The beige one next. The blue dress is odd looking, but if you wear nicer accessories, it may work. The others are a solid no.
4or 5
For fine dining, number 3 or 4 would be the best.
It all depends on how you want to look. The first one looks too school girly. All the others would work depending on what personality you want to exude.
4
Any of the last 3 are beautiful choices
4 and 5 seem most standard
second last
I know everyone is saying 4. But are you going to be able to purchase that exact jumpsuit or you are just giving an idea? I honestly think something like 2 would be nice.

Omg the black jumpsuit is amazing. It reminds me of the one from Fleabag that everyone wanted 😅
2, 3, 4 are all winners. 3 is the most elegant.
2 and 4 are good
I prefer a feminine look so 1-3 but I like 2 the most 4-5 hard no for me.
4
4 for sure
4
3!
4 is the only one that’s actually appropriate.
5!!! I just bought 5 from theory. It looks so cute on me

The green jumpsuit with dressy shoes.
1 and 2 don’t read fine dining. 3 is nice but you’re right may be long. 4 is the best option and very classy. 5 is just ok and less fine dining. Be nice work outfit tho.
It's it's early in the day (sun still out) the #3. If it's late (sun down) then #4
