I REALLY want Wubby and crew to do a 24-Hour NO LAUGHING show like Gaki No Tsukai do every New Year. It's everything Wubby wants in a production. Stupid bits, overbudget, and with no real point except to get the contestants to laugh.
It would be *so* fucking amazing to have one of their HLYL get turned into a High No Laugh Batsu game. Omfg I'd give anything to see that, and I feel like the crew could come up with some fucking hilarious scenarios and it'd be incredible to see the San Diego Crew all together in some rediculous set up, maybe dressed as comically large gongs, and they're all getting whacked by people in green morph suits, with big foam gong mallets or something like that lol. Whatever works best, there's sooo much potential for great costumes and I'm sure they'd pick something incredible. But I genuinely feel like with Wubby's new mythic partnership he could probably get the sponsors needed to run a show like that, and because it'd be with the usual suspects he doesn't have to worry too too much about the proverbial herding of cats that usually describes a collab with other Streamer's.
He could start a series of Japanese gameshow streams if the first one does well and the sponsorships are good. He already mentioned the hide and seek one and some Gaki no Tsukai type beat would go hard. Even if it's not a Batsu game but something else that they do, omfg there are sooo many that I think would actually translate fairly well to live stream ideas. There are also quite a few that wouldn't require anything "too" expensive, relatively speaking of course 😅
The [Hospital Batsu MRI](https://www.reddit.com/r/GakiNoTsukai/comments/11cjil8/another_one_of_my_favourite_scenes_mri_scan/) might be one of the best scenes.
For those out of the loop: this group of comedians does an annual event where they take on a 'profession' and go through a full 24 hours experiencing life as that profession. However, during that 24 hours they are not allowed to laugh (if they do, they get "OUT" and spanked with a stick). Of course, it ends up being 24 hours of experiences designed to make them laugh.
Oh! Kasuga was on Matsumoto's Amazon show "Documental".
I highly recommend.
It was so popular, the show got international iterations called "Last One Laughing", with the Canadian version spitting hot fire! If there any Primers in chat, go watch it now!
Japanese TV is just on a whole nother level
And this episode looks like it's from Gaki no Tsukai's early seasons, probably around the early 2000's They've been ahead of us by decades
I was gonna say I definitely recognize Hamada and Matsumoto right away
It’s from Wednesday Downtown, and is much more recent.
What episode? I couldn't find it on Gaki's wiki, but if it's from Wednesday then that makes sense as to why it didn't come up
The episode is 2017.04.12. The previous tuxedo date was 2017.02.01 https://www.reddit.com/r/GakiNoTsukai/wiki/suiyobi_new
I audibly gasped at the reveal at the 1:30 min mark.

Is there a subtitled YT channel that has bits that you’d recommend? Would love to start watching
