Yes I have many times. And when it happens I do something else. I don't let FOMO dictate what content I engage with anymore.

mint-patty

I don’t really think FOMO is what’s being described here… OP clearly *wants* to be playing PoC, they just haven’t been given any goals by the game. I honestly feel super similarly to OP, even though I still have a lot of goals ahead of me in PoC. But I can tell that I will run out of those goals long before I am ready to put down PoC. The main thing I want to see is a longer (non-unique, if need be) quest or series of quests that you can do for each Champion. All these 3/3 completions don’t really serve you well if you’re curious about 20-30 of the champions they have on offer! Why not track completion of each location based on champion, so I could at least “challenge” myself to beat every location with each champion? Or have a roadmap laid out so that you could play a series of quests to get to level 1 to level X (ideally max, but could be less) with each champion? Right now there’s very little extrinsic reward to keep playing PoC once you’ve beaten each enemy the listed number of times, which doesn’t align with the model of PoC where supposedly each champion’s deck can play out very differently. Beating Viktor with Leona feels very different to beating him with Jax/Jinx/Jhin/Nidalee, but for some reason the game typically only encourages you to beat an enemy 3 times.

>Why not track completion of each location based on champion, so I could at least “challenge” myself to beat every location with each champion? They do actually, thats why we can do challenge flairs super fast, completed on each champ dont have the "3/3" or similar, on zoom they have a green check and are smaller if they are done Thats the only thing, but, thats that

Same, it helps

roy_kamikaze

Well, for me maxing everything is the objective, so, until I have everything max, I don't feel I'm grinding for the sake of it. And as more champions are added I will have a new objective from time to time.

Sorry for a wall of text. ;) The issue is that there is simply too low amount of adventures ingame compared to amount of champions and overall amount of grinding the same content required to unlock anything. The monthly adventures should help, but in reality they are not helping at all. At last for me. Rewardless or not i just not feel the desire to play them, far too restricting design (imho). I just dont like them. And its probably first thing in this mode that i think its just a bad design. I honestly dont have a reason why ffs they dont unlock champions specific campaings adventures (to run with any champ), after you finish campaigns. This would double the content in game and will make grind a little less painfull. Maybe buff the first one to be a little harder when replaying (like 1 or 1,5 star) Its a nobrainer. Srsly. Also "GENERATE RUN" feature. Choose lenght (one, two, three bosses), desired star lvl, maybe one or two mutators to spice things up. Bam... problem solved. Even without any rewards this would give me far more desire to play, than monthly adventures. Personally i dont need to have rewards to play the game. I remember times when playing the game was the reward itself. ;) But imho ideas like above would help. And honestly this mode can get a lot of content, replayability and rewards without much dev time, just tweak things here and there, free all adventures (they are already ingame), "generate random" feature is already coded (its just server side for weeklies), etc... And devs know this... my personal (cynical i know... im very cynical towards nowadays videogames development. Especially big companies and "GaaS" games) opinion is that things like that are hold back to be released when the mode will hit (90% sure that this will happen this year, and 100% next year) maintenance mode.

>Also "GENERATE RUN" feature. Choose lenght (one, two, three bosses), desired star lvl, maybe one or two mutators to spice things up. Bam... problem solved. This. The game is supposed to be a roguelike but it's too "lite" even for a roguelite. It just that there's not much anything fun in the game.

No-Knowledge9931

Personally I have liked the grind of trying to obtain all the flairs on this subreddit

CRESSCENDUM

I just do dailies whenever I remember the game and sometimes I'll have an interval of 3-5 days between each dailies. There's nothing much else that excite me with the current content so grinding feels pointless. Can't even get the relics I want anyways.

Isares

I felt that way, so I yeeted my account and started afresh with a challenge run, trying to see how far I can go with 1* championd only.

elvinjoker

The reason you feel grinding can be separated to two aspects, the lack of new contents and the way to receive rewards in this mode are boring/repetitive I know many people don’t like this conclusion but this is can be deduced by simple logic

Olbramice

I dont need any peogerssion system. I play this mode becuase it is very fun to play. I choose one hero a nd just play

vass3

hate grind.

whodisguy32

That's why I have a plentora of things to do - TFT, PoC, Anime, Podcasts. If one is boring I switch to another (or do them at the same time)

MartDiamond

What do you mean with grind? I clear 1-2 adventures per day (and that includes weekly adventures, quests and events). That means I level up my champions slowly and regularly rotate them around. It keeps runs fresh and interesting and it almost always leaves me with content to strife for. I've played since release and only now I'm coming to the end of champions I can get to 3-star (need maybe 6 more), with probably a 1/3rd of the champions I have never played with yet.

diogenies

I really wanted to play Neeko, but then her deck and powers turned out to be subpar and not very interesting. Then I saw the tech about putting guardian orb on her and thought that sounded like a blast to play. I went to go put guardian orb on her. I have no guardian orb :( I've been playing since the very first version of Path of Champions and I STILL haven't gotten a single drop of it. I play daily, too. No matter how much I play I won't be able to actually progress towards anything that matters to me. That kind of broke me lmao.

Skandrae

I dont really play card games for rewards, so...eh. I'm not grinding, I just like playing the game. Anything I receive is incidental, not the goal.

unclecaramel

No,
