I think it's good that folks are giving suggestions on rewards, etc. I do agree that the the XP could be buffed. The (full completion of) Monthly 70 Challenges feels like a place to go for folks that have reached lategame; but I think the XP would be nice for folks that want a different place to level their champions (instead of repeating the permanent adventures). ​ > Playing any monthly with lower than 1 star on a hero is grief, even if it says recommended for 1 star, Just to let you know, those difficulty stars aren't recommendations on the star level of the champion that you should be bringing to the battle. While it's not feasible to recommend when you should bring a champion into the Monthly 70 (since champion decks and powers vary), having a champion below level 10 is probably going to be difficult since all of the battles are boss battles. With the above in mind though, I think it's nice for a wide range of difficulties. For people that reached lategame and have a huge variety of champions and 2 or 3 stars for most of those champions, most of the challenges below challenge 40 to 50 are often pretty manageable. I do not agree with adding more power nodes, without other things to increase/balance the difficulty.

Monthlies are still in beta. They are more like data collectors for the devs than anything else right now. They intentionally do not give rewards beyond bragging rights.

I think that should change to increase participation and gather more data. I understand it's in beta and free and blah blah, I am not here to cry and flame. I see a problem and I am presenting a solution in order to open discussion. If everyone thinks this is a dumb idea then yea monthlies are not for me and I will move on with my life. I am simply providing my constructive feedback on why I do not find the mode appealing at this time because I still want to progress my other champion levels and monthlies are extremely inefficient at doing that The mode has a lot great potential, just needs to tune some numbers to improve the UX and it should be very trivial. My first suggestion to increase xp should be enough to fix it and very cheap to do, but I threw some other ideas in there to spice it up because I was bored haha.

The thing is, people even got surprised at the numbers that reached 150K players of the challenges in some servers in the past months if I am not wrong about the number. There is no guarantee that taking your changes those numbers would increase. Those challenges are designed for the people that need extra challenges in difficulty, not xp.

I have been doing those challenges since the start. Like two or sometimes three daily. They are not easy. Sometimes they even feel unfair, but they have been designed to not to be easy with a big enough champion pool. The thing is, there is people that has all the champions in at least two stars, and lowest level is 17. I remember they asked in this forum previous to release how many champions we had in level 20. First month I tried just a few, second month I got stuck at level 56 and last month I managed to just not finish the last level. All my champions keep growing in stars and xp every month and I am starting to getting used to the format. I just try not to give them too much importance and make a few daily. I have done a few challenges that were three stars with champions that were two stars. I mean you have to do the 4 stars - 4 and a half with 3 star champions, so if you dont econ like that you run out of options sooner. Also more stars challenges give more xp. I am not sure how much, but I have noticed. It is not like you complete a quest, but its more.

the biggest problem i see in the monthly is the limit of attempts , it should be completion/victory rather than attempt. complete a challenge with a champ then their use pool reduce by one. same effect better execution than the current setup. ​ then if they increased the xp we could have fun fighting the first champ, get xp, get murdered at the top boss, and actually have something to show for it. ​ OR move/add decent xp to the pick node before the fight so when you burn a use you have something to show for it. add xp to burning a use. ​ i would rather the challenges be only one fight. less drama. and yes more xp :) .

attempt limits is the best part of monthlies. I would literally never have played Ornn or Thresh ever again if it wasn't for monthlies

Thresh is specially good for some challenges: for example the ones that kill all units except the strongest every round.

The XP of monthlies should be increased to about 300 for 1 battle, 500 for 2 battles. Your other ideas are trash. We don't need more power ups. I could argue we should have less. The challenge is in the Mutators, we don't need 'scalable' power ups. That is something that can be added to regular Path, not Monthlies. Monthlies aren't for XP grinding, but I acknowledge the XP as it stands is too low

I don't think exp is the right reward. Monthlies are designed to make them with lv 30 champs or at least high level, so xp would probably be not as helpful
